Has anyone had any luck with craigslist?

Well, Craigslist is like McDonald's. It's quick, easy, but don't expect great quality.

I met 2 guys from gay.com when I was in college and both were ok. I was really selective though and didn't meet the first night we chatted online. Be careful.

Meet them in a public place first. Don't just give them the directions to your door. Verify they are who they say are, tons lie on Craigslist.

Speak on phone first also. If they don't want to, that's a red flag. Even if they are "discreet" if you are going to trust them naked in a room they should be able to trust you with their phone number!

Craigslist seems very sketchy. I agree with some of the posters in that if you do end up meeting up with someone from there, meet in a public place first. But honestly, you might have better luck on online dating and online hook up sites, rather than craigslist.

I find craigslist very hit or miss. I can post an ad on craigslist and have about 20 e-mails in an hour or two later. I'd say about 10 are game players, 4 are not my type (not what I was looking for in ad), 4 who I dont find attractive or just weird, and 2 who I would possibly meet up with, but the end result being one. lol

You have to be very careful anywhere with meeting guys. Public being the best place to meet though. Be weary though, theres a guy on the craigslist in my area that is meeting up with guys and spreading STD's. A lot of people are flagging all of his posts and posting on craigslist about him.

Edit: But to answer your question, yes I have had luck meeting guys through craigslist. Granted none of them lasted. Met a married guy who just wanted to be sucked off, but eventually he started kissing me, then I wanted him to blow me so bad so I asked, he said he has never done it before, I said do you want to give it a shot. Next thing I know, im getting some gooooooood head from this guy, he had to do it before.

Yep, I've met quite a few guys from craig'slist. Some good, some not so good. it's just like in the 90's with the 976 numbers. You talked with the guy on th ephone and met up and it was hit or miss. I've also hooked up with tons of guys from bars and it was the same. Never had a single incident where I was in danger. I do meet a good number of married and straight (so they said) guys who wanted their dick sucked.

I've found two great part time jobs on craigslist, a fantastic Trek used bike, cool patio furniture, my Apple laptop, etc..

Never hooked up with a guy, though one did mention me in a "missed connection" to which I responded and we exchanged a few BJ's over the next few weeks...

I'm actually new to all this and just had some successful hookups via craigslist. I always ask for pics etc before hand via email and give them my number so they can text me, once they text, i've got their contact info and usually a name logged on my phone. I can't host, so I meet them in a public place. It's been good so far.

I think we're all in agreement that CL can be a Hit or Miss like anything else. In the past I did the pic-exchange thing and maybe 1 in 5 pics i found attractive...

Unfortunately there appears to be more unattractive guys on Craigs List in my area..Very few atttractive guys..And now the University Boys are flowing the list with ads looking to J/O with other College kids or "sugar daddies"..

Then you have the same people "bumping" their ads day to day so why even bother...

That's a great way to put it. You can sometimes get lucky though and find good quality on there but it takes a lot of patience and depends on your area too.

There is an adult theater just up the street. I post an ad on CL, we meet for coffee at Starbucks and then head over to the theater. If things go well, we might exchange numbers and then I'll invite him over but I never just hand out my addy.
