Has being "gay" become trendy among heterosexuals?

Bromance is certainly all the rage in La-La Land, so it's probably seeping down into the general culture.

What I've heard about is that being bisexual is a trend nowadays, and I believe in it. I know an American gay guy on campus. At first, he claimed to be bisexual on Facebook, even though he's obviously gay. There're two reasons for him to do that: he didn't want to come out totally, and being bisexual is considered cool, so he can enjoy guys wholeheartedly, while others still think he also sleep with girls.

Now that guy has come out totally as gay. People can be whatever they want to be, but doing something just because it's cool is obviously not a good attitude towards life. I'm gay, I can't sleep with girls, and I don't need others to believe that I can.

If gay is the new black, and so many of you are flirting around and nailing heteros, could you please speak to them about equal rights at some point? You know, while he's giving you head, or after he's giving you head, just mention that you'd like to have equal rights to the straight man who's sucking your cock. You can say it in a sexy, breathy voice. Just saying, this experimentation is great I guess, but it would be even better if it carried over into the voting booths.

I watched the new episode of Greek last night. The gay guy met this hot guy at the gym. The hot guy compliments the gay guy's body. That leads to a "date" at the bar to watch a football game. In the end the guy is straight. The gay guy is confused because he thought the hot guy lead him on with all the compliments about his body.

The point was that more straight guys are acting more like gay guys and it is confusing gays guys.

I am one of those guys who once had sex with women and would never really rule it out again..but I would consider myself gay.

I see myself making A LOT of jokes with women, of a sexual nature, even hitting on them. I have very little interest to go through with that..but I think in many ways, that type of thing, is just a way to connect to someone. Or maybe sadly, a way to get someone to like you very quickly.

Very few people hate compliments where you are suggesting you find them appealing in some way.

"Homosexuality Trendy"??

- yeah, that along with Root Canals and Herpes...

**rolls eyes violently and walks my hawt ass off this thread**

not actually being gay
just acting stereotypically gay (feminine)

a lot of people at school do it. grabbing each other around the neck. going "oh stop it hehehhehehe"

>>>You know, while he's giving you head, or after he's giving you head, just mention that you'd like to have equal rights to the straight man who's sucking your cock.

I have a feeling that, given a choice between equal rights and getting to suck a straight guy's cock, I'm pretty sure which one is going to get selected...

It's become trendy, acceptable and perceived as natural amongst women, but it's not looked at the same way for men...unfortunately...

I however, have no desire to be with women and am not even curious.

Men tend to be more frequently bisexual, but they act on their same sex desires on the low. They'd take that to their deathbed before letting it out. Women flaunt it because it's perceived as hot...even going to the extreme of lying about same sex encounters to garner attention from men...I find it pathetic, but that's just me...
