You guys should start thinking about recruitment and actual retainment instead of just focusing on posting a bunch of nonsense threads a day. To be honest, the daily nonsense threads don't interest me at all, and I suspect I'm not the only one.

Also, there seems to be a subtle resentment of new comers. May be I'm just imagining this. My first thread on this forum was met with some subtle and not so subtle hostility. We were traveling, and I was bored. So I googled for a gay site. I'm not exactly sure what prompted the hostility, but it was certainly not very welcoming. I can see how this site doesn't retain very many new comers with such an attitude. Just my opinion.

The things that have encouraged me to leave sites in the past....

My interests changed
Born again christians
Too many right wingers
Real life took most of my time
Too much fighting

The only reason I do them to begin with is that I am a social person and alot of my work now is on the computer so I use boards for escape. I find computer work tedious and not really in my nature....

I think we do a great job at welcoming people. i can only think that the reason people didn't rush to welcome you was that they remembered you as ZombieKiller and all the trolling nonsense/poor me victim threads you ran.
