When I developed the ability to lucid dream in the early 1990s, it opened a doorway I didn't expect to open--the ability to have presentient dreams. The dreams came at random, and varied as to their accuracy. Some were merely indicative, some reached 80 or 90%, and a few were 100% accurate. On one occasion, I actually won money at a casino game that I seldom played.
This ability of mine began to become a problem, so I ceased my practice of lucid dreaming. The ability to have presentient dreams gradually faded, and now I have them only on rare occasions.
I don't consider myself anyone special. I think anyone who takes the time to learn how to lucid dream will develop the ability to have presentient dreams, but the question remains--why would he want to? Most of the dreams were either mundane ones or bad ones, and one can't control them anyway.
Yes, but it is not something that I really like to talk about.
My mother had this 'thing" where she would dream about her deceased relatives, and then we would receive news (could be either good or bad) from her family.
I have the same "thing." But it's something I don't quite understand fully, and I don't share what I dream, because if I were to admit it to other family members, they would probably think that I am a psycho.
I don't ask or expect anyone here to believe me, because you don't know me.
What is it they say? Something about how only crazy people never think they're crazy?...I swear I'm not crazy.![]()
