A few years ago i would have said it was all bollocks but over the last few years i have had the same dream over and over again, I'm a black man being run down and captured and put aboard a slave ship heading for the new world.

Do you have any past life dreams ?

I believe very strongly in reincarnation. I think I've drowned in a past life. That's why being in deep water scares me. I think I was also an athlete in a past life as I've had many dreams of me being a runner.

In a Zen Buddhism kind of way? Reincarnation and karma, i must have done some shitty things in the past if this is the life that I got :lol:

No dreams of other lives for me but I find this idea fascinating.

One of my roommates, many, many years ago, was into Wicca, astrology, holistic medicine, massage therapy, and ALL that kind of stuff.

At one time she tried regression hypnosis on me.

I "traveled" back to Merry Olde England as a wondering troubadour.

I thought the whole session lasted about 15 min. It was over an hour.

I've already answered this question in 1924, 1886, 1833, 1749, 1612, and, I think, 1595. (Not sure about that last one. My memory's kinda fuzzy and it's non-existent before that.)

It's funny you say that because in every one of the running dreams I am running buck naked.
Some believe that gay people in this life were the opposite sex in their nearest past life. Makes sense as much as anything else.
 
I believe in it. I think one needs to live many lives and learn many lessons before going to "heaven" or wherever else.
 
This whole topic is fascinating. I have often wondered about it but cannot really remember anything specific about a life. Does anyone ever report what they were doing in the in-between time. If you reincarnated some 150 years later, where were you and what were doing in between?

I had these dreams when I was a little kid. I have never talked about this before. I felt dis-embodied and very disoriented. I was surrounded by an incredible amount of violence but separated from it by what looked ropes as in a boxing ring. The violence was coming not from identifiable people by some kind of spirits that I really could not see. I remember being very tiny in comparison and totally terrified and helpless. It seemed there others on my side of the ropes as well but I have idea who or what they were. Then I would suddenly wake up as it felt like I slammed back in my body and all was quiet. Very weird. I had these dreams often when I was maybe 6 or 7. I thought of some in-between time memory? Or maybe just a kid dreaming about what doesn't make sense in life. They were different than any other dreams I've ever had though.
 
No, I don't believe in it myself. For me I wasn't here before, I am now, and at some point I will no longer be.
But... I've always wondered about a question for people that do believe in reincarnation. Is there a large, but finite amount of souls that get dispersed through the universe, or is there just one that's constantly reincarnated?
 
No, I don't believe in reincarnation, but that is not to say I do not believe in some forms of ESP, as well as dejavu. I have had experiences that I had "seen" before they happened, never momentous, but a definite perception I had seen that scene before.

Scientists believe our brains misfire and falsely create the sensation that something is familiar. I think that is possible. And there is much research that affirms that we are highly suggestible and that we regularly create false memories based on what we were told or believe happened to us.

I try to live my life as if this is the only shot I have. I don't want any escape clause.
 
I'm not sure about reincarnation, but I've been to new places which seem as if I had been there previously. Hope this makes sense.
 
We are made of 'star stuff', and, when we die, we become star stuff again only to be absorbed into some other entity. In essence, we were all born at the moment of the Big Bang and reincarnated in some form or other since then, and we shall continue to do so for as long as the universe exists.

Of course, if the Law of Conservation of Energy turns out to be more of a suggestion than a law, we're fucked and this is all we've got.
