No, because I'm a law-abiding citizen who has never committed a single transgression in my entire life*. In fact I'm positively angelic. (o)


*Apart from all the under-age sex back in the days when the age of consent was still set at a ludicrous 21 years old here in the UK.

I've been arrested (stopped) for traffic violations. And, was once required to follow the officer to the police station. But, I've never been put into a cell! [-X

So ... yes! ... I've been "arrested", but never, at leat not yet!, "Jailed"! ..| (Though, there have been times that, perhaps, I should have been! Like the times I helped the cops look for Me! :badgrin: )

I've heard it said that "Friends" will bail you out of Jail, but, "BEST Friends" will be sitting next to You, in the cell, saying, "Damn! THAT was Fun!" (group) :hurray: (!w!)

Yes, I have. Way back in 1982, I was arrested for DUI. Just young, dumb, and stupid. Never again since!

Yes, I tried blocking the entrance to the New York City Stock Exchange on the 4th anniversary of the war. Overall it was a very positive experience. If you have a cause you believe in, I highly recommend it. A couple of the other arrestees were cute, and it was fun talking to them in the holding cell. More would have happened later that night if one of them didn't have a husband.

I was brought in and chained to a bench for curfew violation when I was pulled over @ 17. Cop wanted to fuck me over any way possible, held me 15 minutes in order for me to be "out" after curfew. It was horrible... got thrown out completley.

anyway yes arrested a few times in demonstrations when i was young and an idealist.

i thought i could change the world.

I've done some things that I could have been arrested for, but I guess I'm lucky and have never been caught. I would be crying like a baby and calling my mommy if it ever happened.

No I have never even met a police officer. A friend of mine has been to prison for actual bodily harm for sticking up for himself whilst he was being gay bashed one night. I'd gladly go to prison for sticking up for myself if the situation ever arose.
