  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Have you ever dined and dashed?

What would you prefer I wag at you?

Mind you, I'm not one to get my knob out in a Diner and wave it in people's faces whilst they are trying to eat breakfast. ... and you'll never catch me drunk that early in the day.

 I was a heavy drinker in my early 20's to my early 30's. Now I have tea :)

The closest I have ever come to such a thing is, as a child living on the streets I would wait outside of an open air dining area of a restaurant until customers were finished with their meals and left. Then, before waitstaff could come out and clean up I would hop the low, decorative fence and grab what food I could before running off (often being chased a short way by an employee with a broom). I don't feel guilty as the remains of the food would have just been thrown in the garbage if I didn't grab it. Instead it went to feed myself as well as a handful of other children who tended to congregate around wherever I found myself, likely because they got food and felt safer around me.

I'm sure you have more exciting stories than I :) And what was that picture of?

Never did. I do not take from other people or businesses and I always gave money back if given too much change. Grew up where they would make the employees pay the tab if the customer disappeared.

No, and it only ever happened to me once when I was waiting tables. Fortunately the manager didn't make me pay for the meal. I had a few other tables who left an insufficient amount of cash for their meal, but they at least *tried* to pay.

I did it accidentally about ten days ago. I went to Waffle House the other day for breakfast. I ate and the server dropped off the bill. I was tired and had allot going on. I got up and left. I was in my car leaving and it dawned on me that I hadn't paid. I parked and sheepishly went back in and paid. I felt so stupid. The server laughed and said it happens fairly often. I've never intentionally not paid.

Steven.

I once was asked to leave a Diner for pulling my dick out to show everyone while they were eating breakfast.I was drunk at the time.Just another breakfast link #-o I heard a few snickers from some of the patrons.

I think they/the Manager "let me" leave without paying.

Works every time.
