Have you ever donated to a political campaign before?

I just donated for the first time. I donated to the Bernie Sanders campaign. It feels good to be excited about a candidate for a change.

If you have donated before, whom did you donate to?

I am sure that I donated to a few Democratic candidates, I worked on one campaign going door to door.
I too am excited about Bernie Sanders.

Yes. I've donated to Barack Obama, my senator Claire McCaskill, Howard Dean and before he turned out to be such a creep, John Edwards.

edit:

Oh yeah, I've sent a little bit to Alan Grayson and Bill Nelson too.

I have for years. Democrat, Republican, independent, I support a candidate, not a party. I've even supported Green candidates. I know they have no real chance (Greens), but I think they have a message worth airing.

Recently I've donated to Clinton, Sanders, and Chafee.............if my say was the only one that mattered, Chafee would be Pres and Doug Fiengold would be V.P.

Yes.

I donated to Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign and have also donated to Alan Grayson and a congressional nominee, from the Democratic Party, who didn't win much due to that nominee having run in a heavily-Republican district. (I donated despite knowing the likely outcome of that race.)

I have considered donating, once again, but I'm refraining from doing it because I'm not sure it would be all that helpful. And the Citizens United decision is part of the reason.

Thynight, NOW THAT'S FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I followed my "favorite" link to JUB a mere two minutes (OR LESS) DIRECTLY after reading an email from the Bernie Sanders campaign which included messages from people making donations to him, people who had never donated to a campaign before.

I seem to be more and more on the receiving end of these really cool, sweet, and surprising "practical jokes" - certainly G*d has a sense of humor.

I would have donated to Howard Dean, but he blew up before I did. I didn't see the point after that.

I would love to donate to Alan Grayson, but I feel it is wrong as an out of stater.

So, when did you blow up? (Yeah, I know, I'm reading it the "other" way.)

I actually never understood (and never will) the extreme fallout resulting from 15 seconds of fervent energy on display. It's still a WTF? thing to me - are candidates supposed to always be dour and unemotional or what???

^ I still feel bad for him. I think he may have had a good run if things didn't happen as they did.

Obama got all of my bonuses. Except for one I needed for a new computer.

Thank you! My sentiments exactly. I never understood it either.

I donated $1 each to about 20 different candidates during the 2014 midterms. I've also donated $150 this year to Bernie with more on the way if he continues to improve in the polls.

I donated to Al Franken's 2008 campaign for the U.S. Senate.

Now, I'm saving up for Bernie Sanders.

Look over the current field of Republicons - a barrel of laughs. :(

Remember, if you donate once and give them your name, you will get an endless flood of emails.
