  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

have you ever fallen in love with a criminal?

Back in the late 1980's (during my slut puppy period) there were a couple of hustlers whom I was nuts about.
Technically, they were criminals because they engaged in prostitution.
Which also means that I was breaking the law by patronizing them.
So the simple answer is.....yes!

My partner has a killer smile. Does that count?

Okay, so, if Ryan Gosling goes and shoots up a school tomorrow or a movie theater and kills, I dunno, 50-60 people, do you think everyone will easily forget about how super sexy he is?

I will. (Well, I never thought he was that attractive to start with, but substitute anybody I think is hot with him.) It's not even like I think "Were he not a murderer, I'd totally go to bed with him". I just think "He killed somebody - not even going to notice if he's attractive or not". And if it was somebody I thought was attractive before, I'm pretty sure I'd stop feeling that way instantaneously.

i had a crush on eric smith, the guy who killed 4 year old derrick robie. i thought eric was so cute that whenever i saw his picture on the web or face on tv, my heart would race like crazy. he made me weak in the knees. not anymore though.

Well... I had a friend/co-worker who I had a huge crush on. He was the best friend I ever had, and he was a great guy. He's been in and out of jail mainly for drug related incidents, so I guess he's considered a criminal.
Some other co-workers didn't think much of him, and I think the boss was searching high and low for an excuse to fire him, but fuck those judgemental assholes. They formed a bad opinion about him before they even got to know him.

I could not remember who that was, but I just looked him up and read what he did to that poor kid -- YIKES. I'm glad I never ran into someone like that when I was a kid.

he did some extremely horrific shit to that poor child. the crazy thing is that he goes up for parole every 2 years but he always gets denied. it's not likely that he'll get released because he's a dangerous sociopath and he'll kill again if he gets released.

I've always been attracted to Dahmer when I see videos of him. Always feel guilty about it though.

That's just natural instinct though. If you develop feelings for a serial killer you should go see a professional.

No, I have never fallen in love with a famous criminal. Although, I can recall two instances in which I found the criminal good looking.

I remember thinking Scott Peterson was cute.

And even more recently, the older brother involved with the tragic Boston marathon event, I thought was kinda cute too.

It's interesting I saw this thread right after I saw this CNN news video. They call it hybristophilia. That girl that has a dedicated twitter account is insane.

I think it's only natural and honest to admit these things. Obviously knowing who they are should, I think, completely turn off just about anything past the initial glance you may give any stranger you check out walking down the street.

Basically this:
I've always been attracted to Dahmer when I see videos of him. Always feel guilty about it though.

well I fell completely and madly in love with a guy I only saw once. Only crime he committed (as far as I can tell) was that he was underaged on a porn website.. ahh that criminal.. (I'm around the same age he is now so shutup. I'm not a pedophile)

If you consider being neglected, disliked, pushed away, put down by one of your closest friends (just because you fell for them) a crime, then: yes.

No...BUT..."criminals" came up in a phone conversation with a friend six hours ago, and we both agreed that criminals, though often really awful people, DO tend to be very interesting and often have a wide variety of things they like to talk about. This is, of course, done at arm's length.

I have had sex with a petty thief; does that count?

I know he was a thief because when he returned to my flat a second time he brought a knife in order to rob me. (*S*)

One of the blacker less amusing episodes of my life cruising the port in Nice.

No, that's in the past. We gays have now been embraced into saccharine normality by PC Society.

That makes him the victim not the criminal.

my brain must be wired differently from other people's. The second i find out a guy has done something really bad, i find myself completely unable to find them attractive. I know people who say "well, objectively, he's attractive" but i can't make that leap. If he's a scummy guy, i don't care how good the outside is. There are far too many good guys out there to give the bad ones a second look.
