While I get how the anger-fuck is played out, I honestly don't get how you go from arguing/being mad, to actually fucking.. Oh well, I guess I'll never know.

Excitation transfer, perhaps? The idea that excitation responses are ambiguous and lose their specificity under different stimulation; meaning the strength of an emotion a person is feeling (anger) can be almost immediately transferred to another completely different feeling (arousal) if they both happen within a very short period of time and the initial response does not exceed an excitatory threshold.

Perhaps it's why people get so much enjoyment out of a 'hate-fuck' or 'make-up sex', because all of that anger and hostility is immediately transferred into the impassioned arousal of the sexual encounter. :)

I guess it's this part I don't get.. I personally can't see how you can go from being mad, to fucking in a short period of time. If I had an argument with my boyfriend in which we were both mad, I wouldn't want to fuck and can't see how he would suddenly initiate this. If he's not mad, then okay.. Then it would be kind of a "I-don't-want-us-to-fight-over-something-so-silly-so-i'll-try-and-calm-you-down-by-holding-you-down-and-kissing-your-neck" kind of thing. But if both were mad and arguing, then I can't see how it would go down, tbh.
