All I see is a member being called for plagiarizing content. Is that "serious" or trivial? That's really variable to the member reading the content.

The suggestion that noting it is "snarky" is perverse. It's also a bit of hyperbole to suggest there is any effort to bully Cormac off the forum.

If there actually were, it would be pointless as he is obviously a contributor to the porn forums at a commercial level, so content is content.

There's an incredible volume posted over time, and content like that on a porn site is owned.

There was the big purge a few years back when JUB demaned everyone's galleries be purged of content we could not claim was in public domain, etc.

No one seems to have considered that after, but sites don't welcome copyright lawsuits.

My perception of posting limits on images came from the deletion of all images on the site that were not verified back at that time of conversion.

Reviewing posting guidelines in the porn forum shows restrictions still in place on both videos and still images, and describes them as being linkable to our own galleries (if the images are ours) or from external sites if the external site's permission has been granted:

There are several ways of adding images to your posts. As attachments, linking from your JUB Gallery, an external image hosting company or hotlinking (if you have the site owner's permission).

I have no complaint about the posting or the payment or nonpayment.

It just is a reversal of what we were all told years ago when we had to purge our galleries.

I don't come to JUB for porn, as I don't browse stills, and the videos here are ghastly. The pics you post are quite nice but I wouldn't know them if I were not sometimes looking at your posts on your profile.

Well, I never said I was the smart gargoyle. Is there a different term for when the loners take potshots at the popular kids? I suppose you could say it’s too limp to even rise to the level of bullying, but I think it’s still in the same ballpark. Even if I think the basic idea is the same.

And sometimes, the issue of plagiarism is far outstripped by the accusation of plagiarism. I think it's clear where the real story is here. We get it. You don’t like Cormac. Put him on ignore and move on.

By what definition have regular members become "loners"? It isn't a competition for votes. We create threads, and people post in them. Some take off, some don't.

You have no issue with plagiarizing. Others do. But it's obvious at this stage of the forum, not ones who bother posting any more.

There is a level of online persona that can be artificial or fictional, but simply copying another man's ideas and posting them as your own isn't really accepted as that.

As for the forum, we each try to make it what we would have it be. I am among those who would have it be less deceptive. It's one thing to be anonymous but really another to make false statements. If you want to have the boards throw that away, that is your view. I didn't come by my view in a vacuum. It has been the position of others over the years on this forum.

Maybe I am becoming a loner in simply saying what others have said, including the managers.
