I don't know about everyone else, but there is SO much to read in these boards, that I can't spend nearly the amount of time I would like. If the brief topic blurb in the listing doesn't strike my fancy right away, I pass over it. I don't dwell on the sexual and don't shy from the intellectual. But if I don't think I have anything to offer, I stay out. I hope that's no reflection on me and I don't mean it to be a reflection on the topic or the author.

Yeah I know what u mean. I posted a thread about what is history- an intellectually deep and confusing debate. Only a few people replied but if you want it to keep it going then you yourself have to keep posting and perhaps reply back to anyone who has posted. You just have to wait for the right people to come at the right time. I kept bumping it up and it got more clever replies as well.
I try to make my threads accessible to everyone else. Like my thread about rudeness young people, can receive anecdotal, simple replies about their encounters or more eloquent replies about the origins, causes of thier behaviour. I like to post topics that are controversial.
