No. I have not. But that definitely would be interesting - especially in the dentists office. Luckily okcupid is a "clean" site like match.com or eharmony. If you had seen him on like a4a (or if i had been in your shoes) it would have been creepy to think about who he may be hooking up with. From my experience okc is for people looking for a good date and possibly a relationship (which is usually a good thing :) ).
 
Never happened to me but it would be interesting!

A friend of mine texted me one time telling me she saw one of the guys I liked on a gay dating site. I never knew if he was bi, straight or gay because it just puzzled me. I thought he was straight, but hes on a gay site, asking for a girl? Lol.
 
Nope never have...but considering I never go to dating/hookup/etc sites that would make sense LOL

one note on that:
I found this software that lets you run Droid apps on windows & was playing around with it the other day
I added Grindr and ran it (just for the hell of it and, simply to see the thing). So i see a number of icons/small pictures of guys..didn't dare click on any, not knowing what that would do :eek: (luckily noone tried sending me a message or whatever you do there). Isn't that thing supposed to show locations? I wonder what it shows for 'location' if you are on a computer with no GPS?

so long story short..there was one closeted guy on Grindr for a couple minutes LOL (no pic's or profile info ofcourse)
 
i have seen one or two that i know, but i would never say anything.
 
my best friends son is on Grindr. He has no idea his son is gay. I thought about showing him, but realized that would be a bad move and hurt everyone involved, so I am gonna just keep quiet about it.
 
That's half the fun of the sites, right?

I actually had that happen pre-internet days. I was house-sitting for a family when I got a call from somebody wanting to speak to John, the (19-year-old) son. I said he wasn't there, and the guy said "Well, maybe I'm supposed to talk to you. Are you in college?" He then asked a few other questions which I answered in a desulatory fashion. Then he asked "So you must be the one I'm trying to reach. You're gay and placed an ad?" i said "Uhhh...no, I didn't." He apologized and hung up.

Kind of a shame - I could've had my first hook-up hand-delivered. :)
