Several. I stay away from most of the drugs, they just do nothing for me.

I'll admit - drugs and alcohol got the better of me......Had to finally get help. It's been about 10 years now - I can't profess as well as RL did......I still have the very odd ONE "Dinner-drink", and I do smoke a little Pot - but rarely. Which does break all the rules, I know RL - please don't beat me......but at least I have learned and do control it now, instead of it controlling me.

No need for me to beat on you. You seem to do a sufficient job of it yourself.

When I was in college I smoked copious amounts of pot but I never even thought about doing LSD which was the other big drug in those days. That's the only illegal drug I ever consumed. But I have taken prescription narcotics for various problems over the years. I remember having an abscessed tooth 25 years ago that almost put my in my grave. The endodonist gave me a prescription for Tylenol #3 (which I think is basically the same thing as phenobarbital). I've never been knocked out like that and I've never slept so blissfully in my life. Luckily for me he only gave me a prescription for 4 because I think I could have become easily addicted.

I moved from small town Tennessee, to chicago IL. Got hooked up with the wrong crowd and started doing drugs a lot. My drug of choice was coke. I had so many friends and went to so many parties i rarely ever had to pay for it. But then one day I looked in the mirror. My nice looking body now looked like death. I had dropped from 175lbs to about 110lbs. It was then and there I dropped to my knees and prayed for help. I did recieve the help i needed. I started to distance myself from these so called friends, moved back to Tennessee and have been drug free since Oct 1, 2003.

I feel much better now. Of course the Tennessee home cooking has added a few extra lbs, but i'd rather be chubby and alive, then dead.
