Have you ever...

Thankfully no! Lol.

Have you ever been kink shamed?

I don't recall ever being kink shamed personally, but I've seen some people make strong condemnations of some kinks and fantasies I have, that involve elements of incest, non consent, spanking, etc.

Have you ever had to cancel plans for something you really wanted to do, and even worked for, paid money for, made physical efforts for, because somebody around you fucked things up for you?

Yes if you include people not keeping their word :(

Have you ever told someone that you don't like them?

I don't believe I have. I usually avoid people I don't like, and tend to be cool and distant if they're around.

Have you ever had to tell someone who was too insistent that you didn't want to go out with them or be involved with them, or that a relationship with them wouldn't work?

Not that I can recall. I had an ex who wanted to rekindle our relationship, but I turned him down (nothing bad happened, but we weren't compatible) and that was that.

Have you ever told someone you no longer cared about them, but you really did?

No. I still cared for my ex after I broke up with him, and I still do. The relationship got to the point where he was smothering me, and I was losing myself in it. I just know that I would only become a shell of myself if I stayed in relationship with him.

Is there something that a lot of people think is funny or cool, but makes you angry or you find upsetting?

There are two serious crashes that come to mind. The first was in my teens. I was riding with my father on a Saturday night. A car was trying to make a left across a busy highway, and had stopped at the median, with the rear sticking out into the traffic lane. For some reason I looked back after we passed that car. I saw a pickup hit the back of that car, and I saw two bodies rise up in the pickup, illuninated by the headlights of a vehicle behind them. I could tell the driver fell out of the pickup, and the passenger fell back in the seat after apparently hitting the windshield.

The second was a car that either lost control or was hit, that went airborne and tumbled end-over-end in the median of a busy interstate. Several cars stopped to help, so I figured that I'd only get in the way, and drove on.

Thee were two times that I came across a dead person just after an accident had taken place. The first was a man who apparently lost control on a slick road. The car was off the road, with only two wheels on the ground, windshield wipers still going, and the person's head was outside the passenger window on top of a wall, not moving.

The other one was when I saw a man lying in the road shortly after being hit by a hit-and-run driver.

Do you believe in an afterlife?

Yes, I have.

Have you ever hooked up with a former classmates years after you were in school together?

No.

Have you ever gotten so drunk that you had no idea how you made it home the next morning?

No. The closest I think I've come to that was one time I met someone when I was very drunk one night. Then I met the person again the next day. It was funny, in that I recognized the face, but it took some time for me to remember where and how I had met that person. If I had been sober it would have come to me immediately.

Have you ever had serious consequences for something you did while you were drunk, such as losing a friend or a lover, getting into an accident, injuring yourself, etc.?

I've never been drunk so no. I've been stone cold sober when I've made my bad decisions.

Have you ever gotten lost while abroad?

I really haven't been abroad, and I can't think of anytime I've been lost recently. I did get lost once in a nudist resort, when I walked beyond a path along a lake there, into some swampy cypress woods. At one point I wasn't sure I could get back, and I saw some apartment type buildings, which probably belonged to the next nudist resort next door, but I couldn't be sure. I was nude. at the time, and it wouldn't have been good if I had inadvertently walked into a non-nudist area. As it so happened, I was able to circle around to the other end of the nudist resort, where I encountered a ditch filled with about 18 inches of water. I made the decision to cross the ditch rather than go back and risk getting lost in those woods again.

Have you ever got lost because you followed a map or directions someone gave you-- heck, or even a gps-- that were wrong?

Yes, lots. I used to ride on a regional commuter train all the time. I've been on a Metrorail, and couple of Amtrak trains, and I rode on a train with my mother when I was 4 years old.

Have you had to deal with people who tried to convert you to their religion?

No, but I once had a pretty insightful conversation with some Jehovah's Witnesses in my parent's driveway years ago.

Have you ever questioned your purpose on earth?

Yes, and I still have no definitive answers.

Have you ever felt like you were held back in life, due to circumstances, background, etc., through no fault of your own?

Honestly (and thankfully), no.

Have you ever been the best at helping others with their problems, but you're hopeless when it comes to your own? (Been there.)
