Have you ever...

NO. Revenge is an empty action. When you try to take revenge on someone you end up hurting yourself even more than you hurt them.

Have you ever showered with someone of the opposite sex?

Well, sure, I know that now. I've known it for many years, thank goodness, but I didn't always know it. We were all immature at some point.

Have you ever showered with someone of the opposite sex?

No.

Have you?

No

Have you ever caressed a baby crocodile / alligator or seen one ?

Have you ever been in a hurricane?

Yes. The appropriately named Hurricane Ike. It hit us hard like the late Mr. Turner, but we survived and persevered like Tina.

No

Have you ever caressed a baby crocodile / alligator or seen one ?
Never caressed either, but I saw a baby alligator when a zookeeper visited our class in elementary school.

Have you ever stayed inside your home for a full 48 hours? Pre-COVID, of course.

Yes, when it was very cold. I work at home, so it wasn't hard to do.

Have you?

No. I'm a major homebody and have stayed in the house for a full 24 hours maybe once or twice before the pandemic, but I've gotta get out and see some faces after an entire day of isolation.

Have you ever struggled with acne or other skin issues?

Yes. I had severe acne as a teen, hanging on a bit into early adulthood. They came out with a prescription medication for it (was it retinol?) when I was in my late teens, after the damage had been done. Though I noticed informally that after that treatment came on the market, that I never noticed any teens with major acne problems, so it must be very effective.

I've seen numerous alligators in and along canals and lakes in Florida, and of course in zoos. We also have some American crocodiles, but I've only seen one or two in zoos.

And yes, I've been through several hurricanes in my lifetime. Fortunately, I've never had to endure the core of any major hurricanes, but some scary ones have come uncomfortably close.

Have you ever had to endure useless "treatments" for real or imagined diseases as a child from parents or caregivers, or from medical providers, either as a child or an adult?

No, thank goodness. But I know people who have, including one guy whose mother insisted on giving him enemas (shudder).

And I only had minor acne on my face, but severe acne on my back. I have no scars, though; my guess is that it's because I cleaned the pimples out with peroxide rather than alcohol.

Have you ever seen any manatees?

Yes, I have. Both in the wild (if you count those swimming in power plant discharge) and in zoos/aquariums.

Have you ever seen battle reenactments in person?

I love it that they swim in power plant discharge!
(As one scientist quoted in an article quipped, "If you were cold, wouldn't you go to a power plant?")

I actually took part in a few battle re-enactments when I was a kid. My oldest sister's boyfriend/first husband was into them.

Have you ever tasted something you disliked so much that you had to spit it out? (Spoiled food doesn't count.)

Yes, I've read quite a few books over my lifetime.

And yes, I have had to spit out things that I found distasteful. Several decades ago I was familiarizing myself with the fruits that appeared in all the Florida gardening books. One thing that was listed was prickly pear cactus fruit (which by the way, is pretty decent). At the time I went to a university, and I would sometimes walk off campus to nearby restaurants. One time I was returning, and walked across a field that had wild prickly pear cactus growing. So I thought I'd try the fruit, so I bit into one. Oh my God, it was awful! It was so bitter that I wondered if it might be poisonous. I spit it out instantly, there was simply no way I could make myself eat it, and I bet it probably would have given me stomach trouble had it been physically possible to force myself to swallow it down.

Have you ever been unable to finish reading a book recommended to you because it was so awful?

Yes

Have you ever ridden The Zipper ( fun fair ride )

I've never been on that one. My ex once told me he vomited after riding the Zipper.

Have you ever ridden the Tower of Terror, or one of those rides that rapidly drops the floor 100 feet, or whatever it is?
