Sauerkraut immediately comes to mind. I couldn't stand it as a kid, but I love it now, especially in Reuben sandwiches and on hot dogs and knackwurst and bratwurst, etc. I also now like hot sauce and heat in foods, which I formerly didn't care for. Strawberries are another one. I didn't like them because of the seeds on the outside, but I love them now.

I had a lot of quirks about my foods when I was very young. I wouldn't eat green peas until I was about 7 or 8. And I only liked carrots raw, not cooked or in a salad or recipe. Now I'll eat carrots cooked, but I still prefer them raw if I have a choice. And learning to like beets was an acquired taste.
