Have you ever written a song or a poem for a guy you were struck by ?

Yes, I wrote a total of three poems about that guy I crushed on several decades ago, of whom I think I have previously shared a few details and my vain pursuit of him. In retrospect, I think I wrote them to struggle with my emotions, and come to terms with my thinking and inner turmoil.

Yes, I remember one time I made a fool of myself when I started saying things to a boy I had a crush on in 8th grade shop. I said things like platitudes such as "keep up the confidence," etc., without knowing him well enough to know whether those things even fit. He acted like I was speaking a foreign language to him, and in retrospect it was probably a good thing the other boys within earshot were clueless about what I was trying to do, so the embarrassment was mine only. I know now that the boy was not worthy of me.

Have you ever felt embarrassed about who you thought about while masturbating, even though your thoughts were private? Details, please.

Not really, no. One day I had a fantasy about two colleagues from the cathedral (the museum director, and the guy who is some kind of general manager) in which we were having a threesome. But I didn't feel embarrassed. Should I?

Yes. In fact I bought the first three issues of the Gay Comix series, which I still have in storage somewhere.

No. Unfortunately I got largely disconnected from current trends in media and culture when I got together with my ex, who was uninterested for the most part. It's been difficult for me to get back up to speed in the years since we broke up.

Yeah, I once had an outdoor thermometer when I lived in a rented mobile home in a low spot in Gainesville, in north Florida, which gets colder than the rest of the state. The temperature went down to 10 degrees Fahrenheit one cold January morning. It was a thermometer similar to what is pictured above. Actually, the red "mercury" is really alcohol with a dye added. The real mercury thermometers are silver in color.

No. I haven't seen or heard too much in the way of people I know having direct experience, but from what others have said, it's not something you want to mess with.

Never had a tarot card reading so can't say if I believe it's for real or not.

Yes, I used to swim in ponds. I had some friends that used to go to local freshwater ponds when I was about 18, instead of to any of our local beaches for some reason. The land around here is low and flat, so many artificial ponds and lakes have been dug for drainage. This is an inadvisable practice, because in addition to the usual pollution and harmful bacterial growth that you would expect, there is a dangerous amoeba which grows and thrives in freshwater when the water temperature is above 82 degrees Fahrenheit. And the Florida heat produces those conditions at least 8 months of the year. What that amoeba does, is once it gets into your system, it literally eats your brain cells, and I believe there is no known cure for it.

About the tarot reading. I had one reading, but the lady who performed it was... believing her own fantasies, to put it nicely.
I don't believe there is anything supernatural about it. But if the reader is honest and intuitive he/she could give some pertinent advice.
