I think the question for me is, when have I ever been OUT of a university? I think I had spent about half my adult life going to one university or another until about 2010. I got my Bachelor's degree, and then went for a Master's degree in psychology. I took a couple of years of undergrad courses, and then went for a two-year Master's program. But I made the mistake of choosing a thesis advisor that everybody warned me about-- they told me his students don't graduate. So two years became three, then four, then... I finally had to bail after 7 years, proving everybody right. And oh, I happened to acquire student loan debt during that time. And then, some years later, I started taking education courses, and yes, took on yet more student loan debt. Then after my Mother died, I lost all interest. Why am I working so damn hard in college with nothing to show for it?

No. I've bought a couple of used cars, the one I have now was only a year old when I bought it.

I only got two bikes as a kid , a small one when I was 5 and a second handed one when I was 12 , it still works , I had it repaired in 2015 , but I seldom use it ...I'd rather buy a new one someday

Not seriously, no. It has crossed my mind that maybe I should form a getaway plan if things get really bad in the States politically, and the government institutes systematic persecution of LGBTQ+ people, death camps, and so on. But where would I go? And it would require transferring all my assets out of the country, etc.
