I guess I have. I accidentally cut my hand trying to butter rolls with a sharp knife when I was 4 years old, and ended up with 3 stitches.

Here's a sacrilegious thought: If it had been recorded that Jesus had been stung by a scorpion in the Bible, there'd be a bunch of religious people running around the Holy Land trying to get stung by scorpions, so they could suffer as Christ did!

I live in Florida, so I've been to the beach numerous times, in different places around the state. In fact, it's so close you often forget it's there, kind of taking it for granted.

Well , I have been made to feel guilty for other things I didn't even do ( I experienced that from early childhood ) and it scars you for life .

I don't know if I've ever bought a pricy item for that reason, but there have been times that I've bought clothes to feel better, or eaten food at a restaurant to feel better.
