  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Have you marched or preformed in a holiday parade?

Yes many years ago, Took part in the local Remembrance Sunday parade march with the Boys Brigade, all brass and polish I still use the same road sometimes, and remember that cold Sunday with pride.

Not since I was a child of about 10 years old. I remember it so well because the boy in front of me was dressed up as an indian and he barely had anything on. He had a little cloth covering his ass and every time the wind blew, I got a great view of his naked ass.

Yup as a Scout as a kid.

And as a clown when I was six or so, along with a whole bunch of my friends.

Also as a scout, it was for our city festival

Yes.

Probably first in junior high when the band marched in the Christmas parade in my hometown, although that may not have happened until high school. I remember the cold and the close quarters and the need to be careful not to blind anyone with my trombone slide.

Most recently, I marched with friends in a local LGBTQ Meetup.com group in Huntsville's pride parade a couple of years back.

I was not in an Holiday parade that I can remember. But a parade that takes place at the beginning of the County Fair week. Our company created a float (formed by chicken wire and each hole stuffed with colored tissue paper). The only fun part that i remember was that we used a beer distributor's warehouse to build the float and they had an "free open bar" that served beer on tap.

Im always part of a cabbage float for the St. Patricks day parade.

Many Pride parades. The most memorable was in the 80s when my roommate and I (both female) were invited by a men’s leather group to carry banners for them because they had lost so many members to AIDS they didn't have enough. A photo of us appeared in the Washington Post.
