I wish I had artistic talent of any kind. But I'm pretty sure I don't.

Have you seen any 3D art "in real life?" I don't think I ever have.

Not like that. He is really good. I have seen a picture with additional leaves or things painted on it over the picture so the leaves are in front of the picture, but not like above.

Andres Amador used to post YouTube videos showing how he guided volunteers on making giant beach sand art.

I've never seen trompe-l'oeil in a home installation, but have seen photographic outdoor scenes as murals in rooms in houses I have visited. They don't give the illusion of a true view.
