Does anyone have a little fan on during the winter time? I been doing it for a while now it relaxes me and keeps me warm/cool

Does anyone else sleep with the fan on?

So I'm not the only one who is lulled to sleep by the relaxing humming sound of the fan

I can't sleep without a fan running. I like the feeling of being cold, so that I can really wrap myself up in my duvet. I've been sleeping like this since I was 6 probably, much to the disdain of my parents when I was little (I still remember my dad complaining about it every time the electric bill was due), and for the past few year much to the disdain of my BF who can't stand sleeping with a blanket or with anything on besides his briefs.

I like the fan for the moving air feeling but mine doesn't make this humming sound you all are talking about, lol.

Did back in college when my room was 1,000 degrees but since then no.

I have been a fan junkie for almost 30 years now, It is so bad that when I travel I buy one and leave it behind, because I cannot sleep without it.

No. It would bug me. I could sleep with the window open however.

In the summer I use a fan and white noise generator. In the winter, it's cold enough without having a fan blowing on me, so I just use the white noise to block out intermittent noises.

We always sleep with the fan on. I've been hooked since a kid and the other half is now too.

Always have a fan on, I can't sleep without it. I direct it away from me so I don't feel the cool air.

I think it started when I traveled for a living and had to stay in hotels. I would hear people in hallway, traffic outside etc. Since I traveled by car mostly, I carried a small portable fan with me, just in case the hotel HVAC system did not make sufficient white noise.

It's usually about 38°F in my place during the winter.

A fan would freakin' kill me!

Before my recent move, I slept with a fan running year round. The hum of the fan helped me sleep.

Also, kept the ceiling fan in the living room running too. The house has high ceilings. The fan pushed the hot air down to where it was needed.

It must be nice to be able to afford lots of hot air in the winter. :)

One poorly insulated place I lived I had to rig up a fan at the top of my bedroom doorway to blow the rising warm air from the floor unit in the hallway into my room.
Now days my ideal sleeping situation is with everything in the house turned off.
In the summer I open the windows at night to cool the house and close them in the morning so it stays nice & cool.

I always get sore throats in the morning if i put the fan on during the night.

The only fan that is running is the furnace and even that is drying the snot in our noses to dust these days unless the humidifier is going full blast.

:grrr:
Haven't you Americans heard about wasting electricity, selfishness and Global Warming?:grrr:

I can't sleep without a fan on either. I've always slept with one for as long as I can remember.
