I don't understand why people find it so hard to believe that she would be. It's very realistic for a person to continue to love and even go back to the one who isn't good for them.

And at least she has the excuse of having tasted his blood and having that create in her a desire for him.

I know. We don't want others to be making the same ridiculous mistake as we do. Especially when there is a Nordic sex god vampire willing to fuck and love you.
 
can they not afford a competent hairdresser for Layfayette? He has looked absurd for most of the season. Just shave everything off if you can't do any better than what's been going on so far this season.
 
I think my favourite part of this episode was the actually character development between the Bellefleur boys.

And that bit at the end where they get out of the van Ateam style with all the guns and that music. Lamest thing I have ever seen

When did Pam stop rotting? Did the elf doctor cure her? I thought the doctor said that it wasn't a cure.

The elf doctor did give her a suitcase of medication and told her to keep injecting herself with it.

Not very sure though. But it sure as heck funny to see Pam lining up behind other people at the pharmacy with a prescription. :lol:

I am so dissapointed by Tara. I used to like her mainly because of you said. Plus she was pretty bad-ass and had some great lines.

Now she's just pathetic. She did redeem herself when she helped Sookie out.

Have you been watching the same show? Sookie is the bad "best friend". As a friend, Tara has always tried to keep Sookie away from vampires b/c she cared and thought they were dangerous. And she's right, they ARE dangerous. How many times has Sookie almost died trying to help her vampire boyfriend of the week? And how many times has Tara's life been endanger b/c of Sookie's association with vampires.

The vampire that kidnapped and raped Tara got to her b/c he was looking for Sookie. After Tara finally escaped the mansion in Mississippi where she was being held hostage Sookie endangered her again to help her bf. Sookie is the worst, most selfish excuse for a friend Ive ever scene. She doesnt care who gets hurt or killed and relationships/lives she destroys s she can save Eric/Bill.

And when Tara risked her life again telling her about the hotel when Sookie came to Marnie's shop looking for Eric. She didnt come to help Tara, all she cared about was saving Eric. I know people think its all sweet n romantic and Twilighty that Sookie loves vampires, but the way she treats her friends and Jason to get that love is despicable.
 
sookie is supposed to have gigantum boobs (not in the show though) .. and she is that half-fairy which makes everybody crazy, too. that's why the boys fall for her.

and about true blood being over the top .. no really :lol: ?

think about the first seasons .. that all basically happened in like 2-3 weeks :lol: they are constantly over the top - fully aware of it and with a smirk in their face.

It has occurred to me that they have underdeveloped Sookie very much over the course of the series and thus made it impossible for me to believe that every man she comes in contact with, aside from LaFayette and Jesus, are attracted to her beyond belief.

Eric. Bill. Sam. Alcide.

All of these characters are not fully human, they are some type of supernatural creature and I think that fey part of Sookie attracts them all in some way or maybe being around her (Sam, Alcide looking after her per Eric) has made them like her more or become attracted to her. I have yet to recall any humans making a play for her. And Sookie is cute to me, at certain times, like when she is in her uniform or that time she went to find Jason and he handcuffed his simple self to the bed, she was looking good her outfit. Also, maybe it could be they all know Sookie won't be put off by them once they found out they are not fully human as maybe a another human woman would.

Bill allowed her to be beaten up originally so he could give her his blood and seduce her. That's what the queen told him to do.

Then, he fell in love with her.

Faery blood is supposed to be the ultimate for vampires. Similar storyline in Twilight except Bella was extra attractive to the vamps because her mind couldn't be read.

She's also one of the few faeries remaining on earth, so killing her would be a waste.
