I think it's deeper than that. Or, it boils down to drama

Also, the whole making out with Sam thing - he tried it once, Sookie gave in. He tried for more, Sookie resisted. I wonder if the whole "You wanted to go further" conversation they had on the steps after she found out about Sam had something to do with it....

Yesterday had me glued to the T.V. as usual.

Tara's mamma should be ashamed of herself, that girl pratically kept her shell of a body alive until she could finally fix herself. She hit the girl with a bottle, and the one time she has a chance to actually be there for her daughter for all those screwed up years,she blows it! She deserved everything Tara said to her.

Amy's dead, YAY!! I was a little said at first when it seemed like she'd still be there cause she didn't leave but she was gone in the end.

I got such a kick out of Layfayette's part, you could see the senator breaking down, I bit if Lafayette kissed him he would've been powerless. My hero, putting his hoe powers to good use.

I was yelling WHORE everytime Sookie was on the screen.

Not the cajun angel. Not Rene!! At first I thought it was Terry cause of the boots when I walked in the room to kill Amy. But now the murders kind of make sense, who's close to Jason and would be the first to hear about the girl he just finished fucking?

And that seen between Tara and her mom was powerful. I can't believe how alone Tara is. Her mom's abandoned her, the exorcism turned out to be a total crock just when she finally got up the nerve to do it, and her boyfriend can't stop humping her best friend's leg. I hope this Mary-Ann thing somehow turns out to be a good break for her though I doubt it.

Seriously some of the best acting on TV right now.
Those characters come to life and make you believe in them.

^^ - Because Sookie had images of a woman being killed, and in that image the woman was wearing an apron and they tracked it down to another town. Sookie and Sam went to the restaurant and the police station, and they had a suspect named "Marshall" or something like that. And the police was going to fax a pic of this guy to Bon Temps, and it ended up being Rene.

The fax of the picture was the brother of the girl killed in Sookie's dream - while strongly insinuating that he is the killer, we won't know till next week

I've been traveling a lot for the last two months and have only seen a few episodes.

I think I have the storyline pretty straight (though I don't think I saw the gay vampire.)

Could someone fill me in on one thing?

At the end of episode 2 or 3 some vampirephobes burned down Bill's house when he wasn't there, but other vampires had gone in there the night before to rest.

Did they die permanently in the fire and were there any repercussions from that?

^It wasn't Bill's house they burned down, but the house Bill's friends were using (they had decided to move close to Bill). They all died. Bill decided to sleep in the cemetery and thus was saved.

So far no repercusions for that, but Eric knows who did the vampire killing and has warned the culprits that he's going to take revenge.

Don't even tell me about it! The hottest vampire ever died there. The bald onee...fuck was he the hottest manpire ever or what?

I'm sad... I loved Amy, they could have done more with her... It was too soon.

And now Rene is going to get taken away too most likely via jail or killed off...

They need to get rid of the stupid people, not the good people. I don't like Bill or Sookie or Sam (well sort of Sam). But I doubt they're going anywhere anytime soon. I think the show is sort of picking up though, I hated the first few episodes.

Well, if it weren't for the frequently naked Jason, I doubt I would have made it to the end of the first episode.

It certainly isn't nearly as good as Anne Rice's vampire chronicles.

But it's growing on me.

I'm enjoying Tara's storyline. Clearly she's been taken to a bordello to live. I had the funny thought that maybe it's a place where vampire's can bite real people instead of drinking their bottled substitute. Sort of a blood whorehouse.

And I'm telling you, actors rarely get me hot, but I would love to teach Jason about the joys of being a bottom. I wish I had seen the episode where he had to keep jerking off. It might have been the first time I would have masturbated while watching a TV show.
