1st Question: I think it has something to do with with the fact that Bill drank the woman's blood after she bit him. I think they have to drink their biters blood after being bitten to become a vampire.

2nd Question: Does cover up work on puncture wounds? Make up would probably just sink in the holes. Then again it's just a TV show. We can't go crazy over every detail.

Yeah, that was one hell of an episode.

They threw so much new stuff at you at once, I loved it.

The show has gotten to the point that you can watch a dead man crawl out of the ground and fuck the girl and it's just like, 'yeah, just another moment on 'True Blood'.

Sure, another possum has to be drowned to kill off another demon, but hey !
If it means more hoecakes in the morning then it's fine by me.

Just watched the first episode yesterday. Fucking loved it! Love vampire related stuff and this looks pretty damn good. Anna Paquin is amazing in this...I was afraid her acting skills went down the drain with the X-Men movies (she sucked!!) but thankfully they didn't! And yes, just to state the obvious, the brother AND her boss are insanely hot men!!! The Bill vampire is pretty attractive too but not my type.

But Sookie drank Bill's blood after getting beat up, and people do V. So I guess that have to get bit, drain of their blood, and then feed from the vampire.

It kinda looks like Sookie will become a vampire next episode. Should be interesting.

Sam's probably a werewolf...or that dog. Sookie made a reference to werewolves in the 1st episode (yes sort of jokingly but still...), he barks in his sleep, smells clothes, Sookie said his thoughts are different from everyone else's, that weird dog (that scene with Bill standing outside the house to watch over Sookie and then the dog came up and did the same...hmmm...). I think Sam might have killed Sookie's grandmother...just a theory...there's something off about him.

I understand what you are saying here, but most stereotypes are based more or less in reality.

I've known my share of gay men that act just as his character does. Should we just pretend that behavior doesn't exist ?

THANK YOU! It's pathetic this attempt to deny that many gay men do have those stereotypical traits. Stereotypes, to a certain extent, are true. People just have to fucking deal with it and accept it or fuck off.
