I love how Sookie and Bill really have no part of the Maryanne storyline, all the characters seem so distant.

Don't you though? Don't you also love how, honestly, that storyline has nothing to do with anything else relevant to the vampire roots of the show? I feel like it's there just to give Sam and Tara something to do.

I'm thinking the mole is Hugo. Maybe it's a way to get back at Isabel for not turning him while he's still young. That might be too obvious though.

And I'm not crazy about Lorena either. It just doesn't seem like the right time to bring her in, with the whole Maryann and holy war storylines. Maybe I'd enjoy her character more if there wasn't already so much going on this season.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that suspects the mole could be Hugo. For me it's a stretch considering the billion other characters on the show but we're coming up with some reasons why it could be him so I guess it's not that far a reach.

There is really a lot going on this season, compared to last that was fairy self contained. I think that's a big part of what makes this season so damn addictive. Last season I watched mostly because those cliffhangers at the end made me want to tune in to see what happened next. This season I would watch even if there weren't any cliffhangers.

I wasn't expecting Daphne to be Maryann's pig. Interesting twist there. Holy crap with that orgy at the end! Meanwhile, WTF does Maryann have planned for Sam? It sucks that Daphne led him to her. I thought she and Sam were cute 'til it was revealed she's one of the black-eyed crazies, LoL.

Jessica and Hoyt were cute. I just wish we could see more of them.

Except that if you noticed (and you probably did) she actually wasn't black eyed which to me means she's operating under her own will. The only question is why?

Yes I really love Hoyt and Jessica together. I feel like I want more screen time for them but at the same time I enjoy the little bite sized nuggets for now. There's so much else going on.

I think Daphne still could be innocent. She was clearly hurt by MaryAnne. Maybe she really doesnt know that MaryAnne is the creature that attacked her and has no control over her allegiance to her.

Actually, I think that when Maryanne and Sam had their very first encounter, Maryanne's little Vibrating moment was actually Maryanne taking/coping Sam's Shifting ability. I swear I heard/saw in one trailer or another that she couldn't control it, and I think it's because she didn't finish what she was doing.

My favorite parts of episode 6:

When Jason and the other guy are told to build the stage and Jason wondered whether he was being punished for something. He looked at Sarah's hand and she got really nervous and said, "how 'bout you stop sulking and be thankful for the 'job' you've been given!"

Oh, I LOVED Bill singing, and the bad boy Bill/Lorena duo.

I'm really loving the romance between Jessica and Hoyt. Looks like Hoyt's growing some balls. Not only did he drive all the way out there, he grabed her by the hair and pulled her in for a steamy kiss. OMFG, they're so cute together!

Oh, lord, the shot of Tara's face while she's getting drilled by Eggs!

I wonder why Marryanne has to wear that bull mask.

I thought about Lorena only being around to prevent Bill from getting to Sookie because for whatever reason it seems like they're trying to build to Eric and Sookie as a couple. I guess I don't mind it but the way they are going about it so far is far too pathetic.

I have a thought on your theory that Isabella is the traitor. Either she and Hugo are in on it together for reasons unknown to me at this point or Hugo is the traitor himself. I think this because I just finished watching the episode again and when Sookie is reading his mind it seemed like he was trying really hard to get the message that he loved Isabella across the way he was repeating it because he knew that she would read it. I don't know, it felt really fishy to me.

It also kind of lends credence to your comment about Isabella not showing up to help Hugo when he was in trouble. Again, maybe because they are in on it together.

Isabella could be on it. Maybe she wants to take over as Sheriff for Godric, and the only way for that to happen is to get rid of Godric. Lord knows Isabella couldn't overpower the man, and Godric doesn't seem to want to become a King.

On the True Blood forums though. They talk about how Godric was a renouncer in the books, and gave himself to the church freely to die. Seems he was tired of living. I can only imagine 2000 years of life gets a little boring after awhile.

I think so. I think maybe Eric wants a list of all the people buying and using V.

Eric's plan could go deeper though. We might not find out why he has Lafayette selling V till next season though. Doesn't seem to fit into this season.

I notice everyone says Lafayette's name the correct French way. The city of Lafayette LA is pronounced the Cajin way--"Laugh-vay-ettte". Maybe the accent changes further North in the state.

I was disappointed/surprised by that too. The whole thing about MaryAnne's powers is that it forces people to give up sexual inhibitions it seemed logical they would they would explore sexuality. I did notice a girl getting tag teamed by 2 guys though.

Vamps can keep tabs on people who have had their blood. Remeber the conversation between Lafayette and Eric, when Lafayette wanted to know why Eric would want to keep tabs on him that way?

I think it is the amount. Like Sookie was almost dead and needed lots of Bill's blood to live. That's why he can keep tabs on her. If it were just anyone with their blood than anyone who took V would be attached to a vampire and would just be a big mess.
