I found the paperback Sookie Stackhouse novels at Target for about $5.99 each, which isn't bad. But there are, what, 9 books?

Charlaine Harris announced at Comic Con that she signed a contract for 3 additional books, which is awesome.

Yeah I saw them at Books A Million for 8 bucks, but if they are cheaper at Target, then i'll be buying them there.

I read like 3 pages of Club Dead, and I like what I am reading. I will def be picking them up. Sookie is so horny in the books though.

Thats gonna be awkward when they get divorced and still have to work together on True Blood.

I never understand acting and love scenes. Yes are an actor but you are also a human being and i never understood how people could just kiss each other so passionately sometimes with tongue and feel absolutely nothing and just call it acting.


That why actors and actresses keep falling "inlove" with their co stars on every movie set.

I think you might be the only one who dislikes Jason, and thinks season 1 is better.

Alan Ball says he is going to introduce Werewolves next season, and some very known character from the third book. Forgot her name.

The third season is def gonna get into Mississippi Vampires. Alan Ball said it.

But apparently there was some very interesting female character in Mississippi. I totally am blanking on her name. I had to wiki her. I think she kidnapped someone or other. She might have been a werewolf.

And I know who Bubba is. They also asked if they were going to put Bubba in the third season, and Alan Ball said no way. He said there would be no way to put him in the show without it looking so obviously fake, and I agree.

Maybe they'll introduce Sophie-Anne Leclerc, the Queen of Louisianna.

Debbie Pelt! That's her name! Damn, I wasn't even close to getting her name right.

But season three sounds to be good. With a gay Mississippi King (talk about ironic) and all types of material for Alan to work off of.

I'm not sure, but I think he has said who will be playling Debbie Pelt. Don't quote me on that though.

I went to Barnes and Noble to read a little bit of Club Dead, and I like it a lot so far.

Sookie is just finding out that Bill is possibly dead, and that's where I stopped.

I am going to buy the book tomorrow, and the next one after that. They are so cheap, might as well.
 
Yea I dont like Jason this season either. My biggest beef is he hasnt been naked this season.

Reading all these spoilers is disappointing. I dont like Eric and Sookie together at all. I really dont feel like they have chemistry. They look weird together. Eric is so pretty and Anna is cute in a quirky way. I hate couples where the boy is is prettier than the girl.

it's gonna happen in the show. it has to happen.

IDK though. I think Eric and Sookie on the show are becoming more and more compatible with each other. Bill and Sookie are so boring now. All their scenes together are essentially the same.
 
oh, i just realized they havent announced debbie pelt.

but i think we will def be seeing the Queen of Louisianna this season.

Sorry, I meant to write, that they haven't said who is going to be playing Debbie Pelt.

But they did say who is going to be the Queen of Louisianna for this season. Evan Rachel Wood.

Seems AB is going out of continuity with the books a little with True Blood. She was in the promo for the rest of the season.
 
Sorry to interrupt, but I've just started getting into "True Blood"and I am officially addicted to it. I've seen all of the second season so far, and just bought the first season on Blu Ray. Man, this show is addicting! I'm really digging the season two storyline with Jason being involved with that church-cult "Fellowship Of The Sun." Next Sunday's episode looks so good. Season one is awesome too. So far my favorite characters are Sookie, Bill, Tara, Sam, and Lafeyette. :D
 
I wish Lafayette wasn't killed off in the books, so he would have a bigger storyline. But I loved the scene with him and Eggs. Satan in a beautiful fucking Sunday hat... I love that.
 
It is fun to compare the books to the show. I got them all for my I-Phone from ereader. I have seen them in a box at Borders, for like $20, all except book Nine which is still hardcover.
 
Luke! And the suicide bomb! I can't believe that's how it ended.

Godric is way hot. I loved how Eric is such a bitch for him.

It was a little weird seeing Jason interact w/ anybody else other than the FotS.

And how creepy was the Daphne heart pie? I was thinking, Tara, noooooo!

My favorite moments:

Lorena getting schooled.

Eric acting like a human.
