HBO's "True Blood" [merged]

Lots of hotness last night

I loved Tara's act with Franklin. It's all in her eyes. And flowers as human food is pretty hilarious.

I was questioning where the the Tommy Mickens storyline was going, but I love how he's now friends with Lafayette and Jessica.

Crystal is a mystery to me. Maybe she's a fairy? Speaking of, yay for the return of Sookie's fairy powers.

Can't wait to see these guys at Comic-Con on Friday!

I've enjoyed this Season so far, but this past episode really got me excited again & in full True Blood obsession mode!

Loved Lafayette's and Jesus' scenes. That guy is the hotness and I'd love to be Lafayette these days lol.

I was glad to see Sookie back with a bit of edge to her character and I loved Jessica's "do not tip your waitress" glamor. Sam's brother is also growing on me, looking forward to seeing more of him. And Eric was sexy tonight too (no surprise).

But I definitely agree - Tara's reactions MADE her scenes. Her vamp is so screwed up and it wasn't so much her delivery, but her eyes that really keep their scenes going.

Tonight's episode was fantastic! I know I say that after every episode of the show, but it's true. Every week it just gets better and better. The opening scene was gripping and that cliffhanger was delicious!

Tara kicked ass tonight! She had freaky cannibalistic sex, murdered Franklin by bashing his brains in (I doubt he's actually dead), beat the shit out of a werewolf and somehow managed to rescue Sookie. All in a day's work, LoL. Rutina Wesley was in fine form tonight. The escape scene with Tara and Sookie reminded me of Gone with the Wind or something. I loved it.

I loved Eric vs. the Queen. I hope she dies. She really grates on my nerves.

Lorena and Bill's scenes were fascinating -- like Hostel meets Fatal Attraction, LoL. Maria Klaveno impresses me more and more every week. She's a great actress.

LoL @ Arlene begging Jessica not to kill her. "Just so you know, this necklace is made of pure silver."

Sam's story finally got interesting tonight. Melinda and Joe Lee forcing Tommy to participate in dog fighting is just... ugh. I hope they get what's coming to them.

Once again, the only story that didn't hold my interest was Jason/Crystal. The actress who plays Crystal looks rode hard and put away wet. Everything about her just screams "meth whore" to me. She isn't pretty at all. Jason could do so much better than her. And apparently she's a cheating slut.

The preview for next week's episode gave me goosebumps. Christ almighty. It looked like a season finale and we're only on episode seven! I love when the show fires on all cylinders like this. I wish I could just fast-forward through the next seven days and skip to Sunday.

I know that I'm in the minority on this one, but for whatever reason I actually quite like the Queen. Maybe it's her immature, childish nature. Maybe it's the actress. (I do love all the redheads) But I hope she doesn't die.

I actually felt bad for Lorena. I've always hated her guts but as I start to care less and less about Bill and even less about Bill/Sookie together, I feel like letting her have Bill. Let them run off to be together somewhere so Sookie can be in a love triangle with Alcide and Eric.

Inititally I was thinking perhaps Joe Lee was sexually abusing Tommy but dogfighting? That conversation Melinda and Tommy had really makes me wish she and Joe Lee would just die already so Tommy can stay with Sam. I like Tommy now and Marshall Allman is a series regular so lets make it happen.

LMAO on your description of Crystal. While I wouldn't have put it that way, I feel like that's close enough. She really isn't all that great to look at, not the best actress and certainly not interesting enough to be sharing scenes with True Blood's original Hotness Monster Jason.

Yeah, doubt Franklin is dead. Shame. He's psychotic. What's funny is I actually enjoyed him and Tara together before he got all psycho. He would've been a fun addition to the show and a fun love interest for Tara. Now I just want him gone.

Was there an official preview for next week? I only saw the Comic Con trailer that shows everything that's happening the rest of the season. Oh well. The second to last thing that happens in that trailer has me very intrigued.

Yep. HBO aired a new trailer for next week's episode tonight.

Has anyone seen the latest Postmortem from this week's episode? It's the complete interview that Sam and Tommy were watching before Melinda dropped by. It's the most interesting one so far, and it makes me even more curious about Nan's story. On another note, is the representative the same politician who used to "visit" Lafayette in season one?

I just saw this picture of Joe Manganiello from the July 12th edition of Us Weekly. I lost my breath at how amazing his body is. If you'll excuse me, I have to do about a thousand sit-ups now.

I loved last nights episode. A lot of drama.

It appeared, from the previews after the show that Sookie, or something, may turn Bill back to a human?

I don't see Bill in the sun? Maybe the promo that aired last night was for the second half of the season and the newest promo is actually for next week's episode.

Thanks! ..| Yes. I belive he is the politician who "got together" with Layfayette in season one.

I just want to put our there how much I love Sophie Anne. I hope they keep her around for awhile like they do in the books.

this latest ep...was pretty fantastic

there just isn't a character that I hate....they all pique my interest every time they are on the screen.

Loved Lafayette's and Jesus' scenes. That guy is the hotness and I'd love to be Lafayette these days lol.

So because Jesus saw a violent side of Lafayette and found out he deals is it over between them before it ever really got started?
I think Jason has toned down. :( Still looks hot in the second pic above, though. :p

He is hot for sure but has turned into such a jerk since he now thinks he is a cop

I love Sophie Anne too. and i hope they keep her around too.

and i don't think Bill is going to be human. but, maybe able to walk in the sun on account of someone's blood he drinks.

Yeah...I am assuming when Alcide/Tara rescue Sookie, Alcide lets Bill feed from him...since there's probably some kind of magical property in werewolf blood that allows vampires to walk during the day for a limited time.

Did anyone else's interests peak when Sookie said she threw a chain and it wrapped itself around that guys neck in Season 1?

I always wondered if that was something "special" for Sookie or if it was just TV magic made to look cool.

And I hope Jesus isn't calling it quits
