Someone posed an interesting theory on this other site today.

What if Lilith was first a fairy who was turned into a vampire. Essentially, she "lost her light" and turned into a vampire as she was no longer a fairy without the juice. This would explain why they would high off her blood and why Claude tried so hard to convince Sookie to hold on to whatever power she had left. It might also explain how Lilith is appearing as she is when they drank the blood. As Godric said, he evolved when he died or hell, he probably figured it out before he died.

You know what you might just be right! I don't know why I didn't think of that lol. Now if they would have just tested the sunlight while they were high to see if they could daywalk.

I love how Russell got fed up with the Lilith bullcrap and threatened all of them in his real accent. I always wondered where he was from. I think he should have slaughtered all of them except Bill and Eric of course. I just wanna see him go wild since nobody else is strong enough to really stop him.
 
So, I am assuming Russell will die as the fairies will go all Power Rangers on him (although many will die). Kind of saw that coming.

Also, I'm assuming Nora will die in addition to Salome (the former will kill the latter with Eric's help). I'm also assuming Pam will end Rosalyn (is that her name?). I guess they're just going with a total bloodbath for the last episode next weekend? They can't have all of the Authority remaining.
 
I'm thinking the elder fairy had all that planned herself. She knew that Russell would kill her and I think this is part of her plan to end him. I suspect the same thing happened to Warlow. I think the fairies have the the power to trap Vampires in another dimension which is what I suspect happened to Warlow and it's why he can only be seen how Sookie saw him. Therefore, Russell probably thought he had won when he took the elder fairies light but I think he might have screwed himself since her whole existence was made up of so many different dimensions. I don't think Russell will be able to handle it and eventually be trapped like Warlow.
 
The actor who plays Russell Edgington is just so boss. His acting in just the last few minutes of the show was the best of the entire episode. I actually got up and praised the man just on the acting alone. Beautiful.
 
He's a really good actor, but I'll be glad when that horrible character is really, permanently (or as much as you can be on TB) dead.

What I'd LIKE to see happen is every single vampire in the Authority bunker except Jessica and Eric get fried. And let's make Russell watch Steve burn slowly, then die. I'm hoping the fae can fry him with their combined light (the phrase 'sun wall' comes to mind).

But that would pretty well end the series. It's the writers' job to give me (well, the fans generally) enough of what I want so I keep watching, but not enough so that I'm completely satisfied. I'm hoping they at least end Russell, who I'm bored with (nothing against the actor, who is great).
 
Don't get your hopes up guys. True Blood finales always disappoint.
 
Well I hope that they at least wrap up all of these storylines so that we don't have to deal with it next season.
 
^ Those are some interesting ideas about the elder fairy. I knew her crazy ass was gonna die though because Russell's old ass is way too fast. I was hoping she had some super speed too but oh well. I also thought she was gonna stand right at the entrance of the doorway and just blast him from there. I just hope the rest of the fairies survive and trap Russell somehow. I want the members of the Authority to all kill each other or get killed by humans or something. I'm tired of the whole Lilith thing.

I think you hope in vain. Even if all the Chancellors die, the Shifters rescue the little girl, the Fae kill Russell AND Steve, and Alcide kills all the baby vamps in the parish, there will still be consequences to all that next season.

Of course, if they've been secretly canceled, they could just kill EVERYONE.

You and me both. On all that. One thing: Lilith telling each Chancellor that she's chosen him or her gives me hope that most of them WILL kill each other. It'd be nice if Bill was the last one standing...but only if someone sticks a stake in him afterward.

Wow...just wow. This was just awful. Alan Ball should have stuck to the books' storylines. The thing with Jason was so out of right field that it was just dumb. He is bitten by Steve Newlin, and all of the sudden he can see his parents? So fucking stupid. Completely disappointed in this season.
 
I honestly felt the best part of the finale was the fairy birth back at Merlotte's. Andy's really grown on me & I loved Arlene & Lafayette's commentary.

IDK why they left that bonus scene out of the finale. The fact that Nora knows who Warlow is probably means that either Eric also knows of him/has something to do with it OR the Authority knew of him and he's a bigger threat than just Bon Temps.
