HBO's "True Blood" [merged]

The final Sookie Stackhouse book just came out this past Tuesday and I can't wait to get to the end to see how she ends it. The show can and will continue on because there are loads of other stories and paths to take. I'm only about a quarter of the way thru and one of the central characters have meet their maker.

My main issues about True Blood lately are:

A) Jason. I used to like him, but I feel like the "All vamps are bad" thing is repetitive with him. Its very been there, done that for the character. There's nothing to look forward to with him & it seems like that's his main story this season. Hallucinating about his dead parents who complain about vamps was tiresome in the finale last season. I don't want to have to watch more of it again. I wouldn't be so bored with Jason if they took his character in another direction. So unless all his scenes are of him being bucky ball naked, then I'll shut up - but I doubt that's the case.

B) Werewolves. Since their introduction, they've done absolutely nothing for me. I just don't care about them and I feel like the only reason packs are given screen time is because Alcide has become a main character & he bores me to tears when he has clothes on. So unless all male werewolves are bucky ball naked this season, I'm not looking forward to them either.

Apart from those 2 things, HOORAY. I'm looking forward to everything else.

Here's the Season 6 trailer:

My favorite line from last season. Pam walks into Sookie's house and sees Debbie and Tara on the floor in pools of blood from gunshot wounds to the head. Sookie and Lafayette knelt over Tara. "Color me impressed, you guys know how to party," she says.

Wait, you guys mean this show actually has a plot, and people watch it for more than the men?!?!?!

Lol, Jk.

I'm super excited about the new season, I'm missing my True Blood boys, specifically Sam and Eric. Damn, I'm gettin a bone just thinking about those two!!! Hahahah *|*

I just finally got around to watching season 5. I didn't mind it. I actually thought it was rather decent. Not great but decent.

Looking forward to season 6 which will be worth watching provided Eric and Alcide get naked a few times each!

I liked the first episode. I won't spoil it. The season looks like it will be good.

I was entertained. Great casting choice for Warlow. Scared the hell out of me when he laughed @ gunpoint.

Loved it. I like the start to this season. Alcide butt shot was a plus.

Oh my God did anyone else realize that guy was warlow JUST before Jason started telling his life story?

I literally had one of those cinematic movie moments when the protagonist has that sudden epiphany "Oh my God the killer is John!" *Drops phone runs out and john appears in the door way*

Ya'll know what I'm talking about, I knew that fucker was Warlow BEFORE the scene cut and went back to Sam and Lala or whatever storyline was next before it cut back to Jason spilling his guts.

I'm so ready for this season. Oh, and bye @ Bill having telekinetic powers. Only Lala should have them, he's a fucking warlock for christ's sake.

YES! I realized the same thing. That's why that scene was actually terrifying to me. Rutger Hauer has been playing legendary vampires since '92 (Buffy the Vampire Slayer).

The only thing that bummed me out about this season was losing Luna. I USED. I'll miss ha.

She bothered me, in fact, the entire warewolf clan irritates me. I used Alcide more when he was just a lone wolf (Pun intended)

Snookie gets a new buff love interest this season, I saw the pics but forgot everything about him, let me see if I can find a season trailer and sniff him out again

I just realized that Eric's "sister" is his sister only because Godric was their maker. All last season during their sex scenes I kept thinking, eww, but now I get it.

Rutger Hauer's character is not Warlow. He's a distant relative of Jason and Sookie. Warlow will appear later, coming through the portal from the other dimension.

What? He did SAY he was Warlow.

I knew Hauer was going to be Warlow when I saw his name in the opening credits.

Are you talking about Luna? She's not a werewolf. She's a shifter.

The werewolf pack is making me tired. They're just a motorcycle gang with a superpower. I keep hoping they'll have some kind of odd social structure, but no, they're just a motorcycle gang.

(Everyone knows real wolves don't do this pack/alpha thing, right? I don't have to rant about that? Good.)

I decided I ride for Luna when she wailed on the pig lady with her titties out.

The whole entire series just got too out there. I just recently watched True Blood from Season 1 to 5 a couple of weeks ago and now I just finished episode 1 of Season 6 and I really fucking hate Bill, he started to become annoying when he was crowned King.

What? He did SAY he was Warlow.
No he didn't. Watch it again :)

In the preview for the next episode though, there seems to be a different Warlow. However, on IMDB he is credited with two characters. Quite confusing.
