I did, and you're right. JASON said it, but I think he's right. He clearly wanted Jason to think so.

I think Warlow is a discorporate entity (hence his apparition in Sookie's bedroom) and he forms bodies and/or possesses people. I think Hauer is going to play the person he's possessed (or whatever) for longest.

I know, that's why I'm saying if he ISN'T Warlow like some people are theorizing, that scene wouldn't have made sense.
 
I did only say that he did not say that he is Warlow ;)

He teleported because Jason shot at him. Maybe super-faes can teleport - who knows. I kinda like the idea that he posessed someone. We will find out :)

Hauer is definitely Macklin Warlow. His IMDB page lists that as his role in True Blood (though it also says 'credit only', so they may be working off a version that didn't include that scene with Jason). Also, this:

Bauer also goes on to discuss her strained relationship with her maker Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and the complicated family dynamic between Pam, Eric, Nora (Lucy Griffiths) Godric (Allan Hyde) and Tara, as well as the Warlow (Rutger Hauer) mystery.​

Problems with this episode

Why would Eric glamour the gov's daughter after she took the contacts out when it would solve the whole problem by doing that to the gov? If the government knows so much about vamps, why would they not know the older ones could fly? It looked like Terry was the only cook at Merlotte's with a full house, how does he have time for a break to chat with that woman? Real restaurants don't work that way
 
Really liked Jessica's prayer monologue, a real highlight of the episode.

Hmm, not clear. IMDB currently lists him in four episodes, as "Niall Brigant" for one, as "Macklin Warlow" for another, and as "Niall Brigant/Macklin Warlow" for two others. I think he'll be playing both characters.

ETA: It's hard to know, because they lied before. Between last week's ep and this week's, it listed him as "Macklin Warlow" for "Who Are You Really?" - an episode in which he played ONLY Niall. So they lie to avoid spoilers and create suspense.

I have an answer to one of the things in your Spoiler box:

Since Bill turned pure evil in the middle of last season*, I'm just hoping they can take him out. Glad Sookie will have a love interest who isn't an evil monster.

*Remember, blowing up the TruBlood factories was HIS IDEA.
