HBO's "True Blood" [merged]

Eric: Where’s Nora?
Pam: Out.
Eric: Out where?
Pam: I didn’t ask because I don’t give a shit. Who the fuck is she?
Eric: Pam, Tara, this is the Willa Burrell.
Pam: You kidnapped the Governor’s daughter?!
Tara: Aww hell! No you motherfuckin didn’t!

^^ Ha, I loved this entire exchange. They were all so animated, but it felt really genuine.

^called good casting.

Well, Sookie's fucking faerie fling was apparently very short lived...oh well

but omg, Faerie Vamp gay sex with Jason! YUM!

Jason looked really good doing pull-ups shirtless in this episode, his 'dimples' showing...

Loved this episode. The twist of Ben and who/what he is was totally unexpected. Sheriff Andy's daughters scene was well done and funny. Eric and Gov's daughter, almost as hot as the Jason/Ben shaving scene. Almost.

I'm kinda shocked about Ben. I just read an interview that he said he wasn't told ahead of time he was going to be Warlow. He said he read to be Ben and when he went to wardrobe, his clothes had "BenLow" on them and the wardrobe team told him yeah, that's you and he called up the producers to confirm it, now he said he is really excited. I'm still wondering if the actual "Ben" character is Warlow or will he be playing 2 different characters? One podcast I listened to said she thought maybe Ben was a "lead in" sort of a snoop for Warlow to get the layout of the land before he actually appeared.

Question: How could Nial not pick up on it, I mean even though he is part fey/vamp, he still should have picked up on it. He and Sookie both were just to quick and easy to accept Ben. I mean Sookie hasn't ran into any feys in this world, now she meets another one and all of a sudden she inviting him over without any skepticism, granted I would have wanted to but I would have just jumped his bones right there in the ditch, and told him to meet me at the bar later.

Jason is so cute but he is just super dumb. I did enjoy the scenes with him and Ben though. Something isn't just right with him though, he has been having "spells" lately and I'm beginning to wonder if he is tied to Warlow in some way? What is it with the elders in TB? Ben just fucked up Nial with ease just like Russell did to that elder fairie (aka Coko from 80's show Fame) last season. I expected more of a fight. And stop with all the Ben nude teasing, we know you gonna show him naked sooner or later, why not go ahead and get it over with, lol.

Ben was nude in this last episode.

I have a suspicion about Jason's "spells". I don't think it has anything to do with Warlow.

He may finally be turning into a werepanther

LOL< I sure ass hell hope not!! I thought we were over that shit, lol.

I don't recall seeing no Ben ass last episode, lol, I will have to back and rewatch it.

Bill should definitely be taking blood from Warlow and not Andy's kids.

Also does anyone know why Warlow was drinking Niall's blood and spitting it out in the tub?

I think he may have been trying to drain him?? It was odd though because he didn't look emaciated when he threw him back in the hole. Maybe he had put a stopper in the tub and was saving it??

Comments above.

I knew he was doing it to drain him, but didn't understand why he spit it out and didn't just drink it like most vampires

In an interview, Rob Kazinsky said he spit it out because he's conflicted about what he really is.

The only thing that I am disliking this season is Alcide. How did he go from this good guy to a murderer and asshole all the sudden?

Yeah, most shows have a cycle where they redeem bad guys and introduce new ones. In this show bad guys are sometimes redeemed, but more often basically decent people turn evil, often for no discernable reason.

It happened to Bill last season. Remember, it was his idea to blow up the TruBlood factories and make mainstreaming impossible. No clear explanation for why he did that was ever given. IIRC he wasn't even talking to Lilith yet. (Hmm...not sure. Was that before or after they drank the Lilith blood and staged their own Red Wedding? Maybe that WAS the transition point.)

Alcide and the wolves in general are very disappointing this season. They're just a motorcycle gang, only instead of the thug leader calling out "We ride!" he calls out "We shift!" Oh, and the women are equals instead of property, which I suppose is a win.

The only thing I am really liking is the Stackhouses-Warlow story line. It's the only thing to me that seems similar to what was great about True Blood.

It just seems like everything else is just filler especially the wolves.

Sure she has. Sookie met the young bell hop fairy at the vampire resort in Texas.

I gave up on TB somewhere in the middle of the previous season, now I am just checking on Rob Kazinsky. And they sure came a long way from a quaint southern vampire story that attracted me to the TB in the first place.

Well, so...
Warlow isn't the bad guy after all. It's Bill, as I've been saying all along. Bill is the new Russell. He needs to die. Probably it will take all season. Also, I want Steve and Sarah to suffer greatly. Especially Sarah. I want her to be made into a vampire and then kiss daylight, possibly after she kills the governor.
