  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

He got bitch slapped at the U.S. Open

He wouldn't have touched the older man if the older man hadn't attacked him first.

The whole thing could have been avoided in the younger guy just walked away and sat somewhere else.

Or is that not allowed?

Oh LOL. I thought the older guy and woman were husband and wife.

I'm really sick of the "It's OK for women to smack men in the face" rule. I hate violence and I hate retaliation, but how would she have liked it if the guy smacked her right back?

Not that I'm defending the guy but if someone older than you complains about your language, its usually shut up or get smacked.

Being old and/or a woman doesn't make it okay to hit people.

Depends on how you grew up.

If I cursed around an elder or a woman (and they told me stop or complained but I continued) my ass is getting beat and I would be wrong to fight back because its an elder or a woman.

The reason why most people find men hitting women unacceptable is because they are adhering to this baseline behavior where you don’t lay a hand on someone who is physically weaker. That’s why generally people disapprove of adults who hit children, men who strike women, and young people who hurt old people.

Oh, I understand that girlesque, but I don't think that it should give smaller and weaker people carte blanche to hit people. I guess I feel differently than most people because I'm only 5'4 and 120 lbs and have a slight limp and all through school I never resorted to violence except for when some kid called my mom and grandma lesbians. Even then I didn't hurt him. I just figured it wasn't worth it to make things physical because you should expect to be hit back and I don't like pain.

Just of curiosity, if you used violence but didn't hurt them, what did you do?

Was it a simple shove?

Haha, I punched him almost as hard as I could in the chest. I was shorter and skinnier back then, but then so was he. It was probably either in middle school or high school.

The only other time I've hit someone was because either I was testing how strong I was or when someone was joking around with me and took it a little too far. I don't really classify that as violence though as to me violence has a much more malicious intent behind it.

If I punched someone as hard as I could, my classmates would barely feel it.

(They all played football and I didn't)

No one should go around hitting people, period. My post is a response to those comments that proudly avow that they will hit a woman.

I agree, but that supposes that all women are weaker than all men, which is obviously dumb.

I was speaking in general terms. Most women are physically weaker than men. Obviously if a person was in real danger he/she should take steps to defend himself/herself, and that sometimes entail inflicting violence.

Everyone's at fault. The young man should've stopped arguing. The lady shouldn't have slapped him at the first place. The old man shouldn't have ignited the anger after dealing with the stubborn young man. Thus all three are douches.

And exactly why I don't go to stadiums to watch sports.

*ducks before being stoned*

Am i the only one who wants to jam my tongue up his ass before wrecking it six ways from Sunday on my pole?

I agree, Mikami. The younger guy was just defending himself.

An argument is all well and good but that woman should not have slapped the young guy. She has no right!
