In Germany: "A German woman who bought breast implants with a loan from her then-boyfriend now fears her assets could be repossessed after she failed to fully reimburse him, the 20-year-old woman told Bild newspaper. Her ex-boyfriend is demanding that she return the 4,379 euros ($5,900) he gave her to pay for her breast enlargement surgery in 2009 or he'll call the police and get the repossessors involved, Bild reported on Wednesday. The woman said they agreed she wouldn't have to pay him back if she stayed with him for a year. But the pair split shortly after she underwent the plastic surgery."

But the pair split shortly after she underwent the plastic surgery.

I'm not surprised

Anyhoo, I doubt a judge would compel someone to have surgery like this. Plus, can the plaintiff show he can resell the implant? Can he show they have value outside of the defendant's body?

I'm surprised she wasn't smart enough to stay with him for a year so that she wouldn't have to pay him...

Sure there's value if he sells them on eBay at a discount. It's like a car...once a brand new car drives off the lot of a dealership, it immediately loses its value from 10% to 20%. He can set up easy and affordable payment plans. It's kind of like a China dinner set. You don't have to buy the entire set at once. A buyer can buy one implant first. Then pay monthly for the next 6 months to collect the second implant to complete the whole set

^^ well, I won't deny that you can buy anything on ebay!

Hope she gets to play with them for awhile.
