Heath Ledger's Last Movie ... SUCKED!

I never saw the movie, but it sounds like it stank.

But I do believe that Heath Ledger himself, sucked. I have reliable sources who have stated as much.

In my opinion the only decent role he performed was Joker. Everyone going loppy over his "amazing talent" when he died was just down to the epic PR machine.

I mean respect to the guy and his family and everything, but I just never really liked him. I also thought that his role as The Joker - and the entire Dark Knight movie itself - was INCREDIBLY overrated by the fans.

The Dark Knight wasn't overrated, it was one of the best movies and the amount it made should come as no surprise.

Give him a break, he was still young he could've snagged better roles...

I thought Dr. Parnassus was decent, but I was disappointed. It lacked hands-on craft of Gilliam's other movies.

I watched Imaginarium last night and thought it was good, although not great. It did start of really slow but got better once the story really started about halfway through. Not as good as Gilliam's previous work (Time Bandits, 12 Monkeys), but still a worthy rental. Interesting that while watching the movie, it reminds you (and makes it very obvious from Ledger's sporadic appearances) how movie scenes typically are not filmed in the same sequence as we see them.
