She has a baby at home. That's not Christian family values.

My advice to this young lady would be to spend less time in bars, on mechanical bulls, doing reality shows, giving abstinence speeches and perhaps more time at home with her young child or doing something more productive.

Maybe a little advice from Chelsea Clinton, a smart class act who stays under the radar wouldn’t hurt either. Would the young Clinton ever do a reality show? Highly doubtful.

If there has been one woman in modern American politics who has been abused by the media & "open-minded liberals," it is unquestionably, Sarah Palin.

If the exact same Sarah Palin was a registered Democrat, and was pro-choice as well as pro-gay marriage, the media would have loved her. They would have overlooked her past leadership record (even if it was poor), as well as her children & her marital life. Sarah Palin would have been praised as the kind of woman that the women's rights movement has been waiting decades, or even centuries for.

It's a sad statement of modern American media & culture, that the main reason why the media covers Sarah Palin's every move is because they want to foment hatred against her. Even journalists openly admit that the reason why they write about Sarah Palin so often, is because any Sarah Palin article on the internet will have many times more "page views" & "hits" (which means more income for online advertising) than non-Sarah Palin stories.

It's sad how so many American media personalities have abused Sarah Palin and her family. They include -- David Letterman, Dan Savage, Margaret Cho, Kathy Griffin, Bill Maher, Matt Damon, Alec Baldwin, etc etc.

Why not make fun of Barack Obama's family? Oh, right. Because that would be racist, and they would lose their job the next day.

while palin has been personally attacked in ways which usually are not used vs family members, etc, it should be pointed out, that Obama has been crucified by the so-called "liberal" media.

the so-called "liberal" media, isn't actually liberal. but buzz-words play well with inept politicos across the USA, and they're perpetuated by those same inept onlookers.

palin deserve(d) to be picked apart when she was chosen as mccain's running mate based on the crazy comments she was making, and on her record. family is always examined when it is relevant, but i DO agree that the attention her family received and continues to receive, is unwarranted.

however, the negative attention palin gets, in terms of her comments and positions, imo are completely warranted.


when we get cases like this one, where people are shouting out "whore," it's crossing a line. the shame in all that is that it isn't a big deal because the atmosphere of hatred and intolerance has now long been established, and so someone shouting out "whore" is just part of the game now.

I have read rumor this was all staged for Bristol's reality show, I have no idea if this is fact and if it's not shocking as she plays the righteous victim. Until it is proven fact she was the victim and personally if someone called my Mom a whore I would have come over with stronger words then she did asking him if he was a homosexual.
Bristol has as much right to go where ever I can go in a public place as the next person. Rather I like her or her Parents makes no difference. Civility is not a crime and Brsitol cannot be held accountable for the actions of her Mother no more than you can be held accountable for the actions of another member of your family.
It is hardly unusual for a bar/club to let someone in who is not of legal drinking age, so I don't understand why anyone would try going that route in making her out to be the bad guy either.
