hi, i'm extremely new to this site. i clicked on a link from omgblog.com and it brought me here. i've been reading the forums for about 2 hours and then i thought, i should join and become apart of this community!

it seems like a fun website and i cant wait to get started in joining the discussions and making new friends!

Haha I was taking a roadtrip through Southern Illinois a couple years ago and was looking at the map when I was passing around Lawrenceville...

I'm a roadgeek from Chicago (originally).

i used to live in Lawrenceville, in fact, i'm going to be moving back there very soon, as i have found an apartment that is cheaper than the one i am currently in and has a bigger bathroom, haha

for a second, when i seen you were from florida and you said you knew where bridgeport was, i thought you may have run into my gay cousin who works at Disneyworld as the manager in the parade department, or whatever its called, lol

i'm sorry to say i have no idea where that is. i lived in southern IL up until 3 years ago. i had to google it to see where it was. i'd say that is more eastern IL. although it is fairly well south.

Well, WELCOME to JUB!! Don't worry, ur not in a town THAT small - I bet I'm in a town smaller than urs LOL I live just across the river from ya, just a couple of hrs north/west of you.. My profile says STL but it's the closest major city to me.. Im only an 50 minutes from downtown..

oh really? lol... and Mike... i was born just 10 minutes from carbondale...

as for missouri... i love that state... and i have no clue why... i am yearning for a trip to St. Louis... i havent been in ages and i used to go every summer with my parents

I love it here - I've been all over the state. Have lived in several places in MO and my favorite place(s) was anywhere close to downtown. I lived in south city for a while and South County for a number of years.. but I guess what they say is true - you always go back home. I now live where I was raised - in the woods an hour from the big city lol Either way, STL is a cool place with lots of things to do
