Hello from the Midwest

...and by Midwest, I mean in the Unites States.

Been a very long time lurker here, but decided to finally make an account a little while back. I've gone as far as submitting a little story in the Stories board some time ago, but I realized I'd never really introduced myself properly.

I'm about 22, a big music fan (especially vocal soul/blues/jazz), a foodie (health is a priority!), and I love to laugh. I would also consider myself ambitious, and although I'm spiritual to some degree, I don't consider myself religious as I've grown up in the middle of it all and have found it distasteful.

Through my time lurking, I've always appreciated the diverse and supportive people here. It can be a very intimidating place for those outside of the social relationship standard, and I find comfort in the fact that there are likeminded people out there.

Finally, if anyone feels so inclined, I'd be happy to discuss the joys and pains of life with you. It would also mean a great deal to me to talk to other people around my age, as there hasn't been many in my life to confide in. Throw me a note!
