Heeeeeey.
I'll try to keep this short because I tend to over-explain things (see what I'm doing right now?). I'm a 23-year-old two-times drop-out college student who now majors in Metallurgical Engineering in the historical must-visit city of Ouro Preto, Brazil. I've been knowingly gay for 11 years, out for 6, questioning whatever the hell is going on for the past year (things working backwards, love it).
I was an exchange student in '08 and lived in Boulder, Colorado for a year. That's where I learned to smoke weed and drink beer. Thanks, Colorado.
I now live in what would be a Brazilian version of a fraternity and have some issues with my parents. They want me to get a job and they're right, so I'll give that one a try soon. I've worked with subtitles and teaching English before, but those weren't really my prime achievements, to be honest.
Had lots of self-esteem issues, dated a guy for 4 years, but the relationship should've lasted half of that time. He was also HIV+ so that gave me a lot of experience on the condition and on how to be empathetic and supportive.
I like beer, some drugs (especially marijuana, though I'm giving that one a break for a year so I can study more), snowboarding (fuck, I was born in Brazil), being a bottom and some other stuff, seriously, let's just talk about it because this is the part I hate most about introducing myself.
Lived in a bunch of pleaces in this big ol' western melting pot. But my favorite is Belo Horizonte (my sig picture in fact). That lady will always be my home.
If there's anything else you should know, please inquire! I seem like a serious guy but mostly I'm really nice. The alcohol just got me all let's-get-to-business-y. It might wear off with my time here.
I think I gave these forums a try before but I can't really remember my username or if I ever had one. I lurked occasionally though, and now I figured it might be time to annoy you guys a bit.
