The most likely cause is drainage from your sinuses. Try a decongestant. The mucus in the throat does not provide an opening for virus as a sore cut might.

Ok so... the chances of catching HIV from sucking a dick is extremely low. Being infected without him cumming in your mouth...almost non-existent. You can catch other things, but most of those are totally treatable.

I can relate to your anxiety and fear. I was well read on HIV/STI modes of transmission and testing and was still freaking out when I had some "symptoms" few days after one of my past hookups. You were not exposed to semen; you were not exposed to his blood so like the comments above already mention, your chances are very, very, very low.

You already went to your doctor; you already tested. There is nothing you can do at this point to change a situation. So don't drain yourself mentally. Wait a few weeks to eliminate window period and have a test done again. If you really want to eliminate all anxiety, get a full STI screen as well after a few weeks. Your throat and mucous symptoms can be just a minor infection. People are like walking giant bacteria and it's Spring season where catching a minor cold is very possible.

For the future, ask your doctor or find a clinic where access to PEP or post exposure prophylactics will be quickly available to you. I would even get a prescription of Truvada and keep it in a medicine cabinet for just in case.

there is actually i can do which is gather information which im doing now because ill still continue life part of that is to hire escorts but not anytime soon im following my doctor's instruction no sex after 2 weeks.. thank you for your advices.

To be honest, I can't tell which guys are straight and which are gay most of the time. You might be surprised by the number of guys you think are straight that are gay or bi-sexual. I think you'd be safer seeking out one of them, if only straight (looking or acting or whatever the stereotype?) guys appeal to you, rather than hiring an escort, who would probably have been having sex every night with someone different.

If you like what happens as far as the sex goes, what happens then? You can't just keep having sex with escorts forever and a day. Eventually, you're going to have to find a guy, or guys, who are at least bisexual to play around with, date, partner or whatever.

If using escorts will be part of your regular lifestyle then majority of doctors, especially those that deal with LGBT demographic will encourage you to start going on PrEP aka daily use of Truvada because you fall into higher risk of sexual activities.
