Help pls(HIV related)

the mucus in my throat are clear btw not yellowish..

The most likely cause is drainage from your sinuses. Try a decongestant. The mucus in the throat does not provide an opening for virus as a sore cut might.

thank you, but i might actually be wrong its not mucus since its in my throat it is a phlegm sorry i thought phlegm and mucus is the same? but having either of the two for as long as i dont have sore throat(pain in my throat) or open wound in my mouth it is safe to bj someone(no way ill let him shoot in my mouth)?? im trying to search for an answer to this but i cant find any...

Ok so... the chances of catching HIV from sucking a dick is extremely low. Being infected without him cumming in your mouth...almost non-existent. You can catch other things, but most of those are totally treatable.

Like I say... I've sucked a LOT of dick in my life and swallowed a lot of cum. I've never had any STIs from that.

I can relate to your anxiety and fear. I was well read on HIV/STI modes of transmission and testing and was still freaking out when I had some "symptoms" few days after one of my past hookups. Granted condoms were used and nothing was leaking but I was still freaking out. Hearing reassuring messages does help psychologically.

You were not exposed to semen; you were not exposed to his blood so like the comments above already mention, your chances are very, very, very low.

You already went to your doctor; you already tested. There is nothing you can do at this point to change a situation. So don't drain yourself mentally. Wait a few weeks to eliminate window period and have a test done again. If you really want to eliminate all anxiety, get a full STI screen as well after a few weeks. Your throat and mucous symptoms can be just a minor infection. People are like walking giant bacteria and it's Spring season where catching a minor cold is very possible.

For the future, ask your doctor or find a clinic where access to PEP or post exposure prophylactics will be quickly available to you. I would even get a prescription of Truvada and keep it in a medicine cabinet for just in case.

they say dont do oral sex if you have an open would in your mouth or sore throat because HIV disease may enter how about in my case that i have a mucus in my throat? will it be dangerous also?

These "toilet seat" scenarios always get a lot of attention. Fear of getting an STD from a toilet seat is the reason that many public toilets have U shaped seats. However most people get STDs from fucking- particularly fucking without a condom and fucking that involves exchanging body fluids.

In the case of HIV, there are materials out there that caution about brushing your teeth before blowjobs or avoiding giving blowjobs if you have bleeding gums, etc... this in spite of overwhelming evidence that most people contract HIV through unprotected anal sex, unprotected vaginal sex or from sharing needles during IV drug use.

Something to think about though: if you take reasonable precautions and you avoid hiring people whose job it is to have sex with other people, then you'll have a lot less post-orgasmic anxiety. Poor choices is a far greater risk than open cuts or sores in your mouth.

To be honest, I can't tell which guys are straight and which are gay most of the time. You might be surprised by the number of guys you think are straight that are gay or bi-sexual. I think you'd be safer seeking out one of them, if only straight (looking or acting or whatever the stereotype?) guys appeal to you, rather than hiring an escort, who would probably have been having sex every night with someone different.

If you like what happens as far as the sex goes, what happens then? You can't just keep having sex with escorts forever and a day. Eventually, you're going to have to find a guy, or guys, who are at least bisexual to play around with, date, partner or whatever.

I also hire escorts and will continue to do so. I prefer rentboy.com, in part because it is some help in avoiding the guys who admit to being positive. BUT as you know, you must always practice safer sex and cannot rely upon what they say. Having said that, I do not hire guys who avoid the safe sex question, who who answer "some times safe" or "never safe". I hire only guys who say they are always safe, and even so, I practise safer sex. Guys who emphasize safe sex, straight, top only, and young, are less likely to be positive than guys who bottom or are versatile and older. Again, always safer sex, but it is safer still if you are selective.
I have hired hundreds of escorts over the years and I really think that the percentage who are infected with HIV or other stds, and who hide it is a small percentage. I don't regard it as being more dangerous than hooking up with anyone else, since you never know for certain.

If using escorts will be part of your regular lifestyle then majority of doctors, especially those that deal with LGBT demographic will encourage you to start going on PrEP aka daily use of Truvada because you fall into higher risk of sexual activities.

i have diarrhea since yesterday :( after 1 week and 4 days with that escort.
