help with firefox

Seems like 2.0.0.9 on my box is more quirky than the last version
 
I have had no problems with Firefox 2.0.0.9 on either of 2 computers. Opera is very nice, but I like the Bookmark management in Firefox better and I find it easier to navigate in.
 
Is it really a good idea to go back to an older version, as the reason for new versions are bug fixes?

an fyi: firefox 2009 was put out because of a security flaw in relation to java.

you might want to look into it.
