I find it of interest that P3t3's quotidien threads are disparaged as banal. Life is generally such. If his threads address his life's concerns I'd say he's pretty fortunate, and if he does need help he's at least asking for it. And, thank heavens, the topics of his threads are not life-threatening circumstances. Not ever thread can be about the great issues of the day -- or prepubescent dick.
Many who take issue - and I was one once - with P3t3's threads are not necessarily scintillating or voluminous OPs; I certainly am not. At times when this brouhaha arises I recall "if you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem." And he has skipped over the "just posted my dick" fascination.
There is no doubt in my mind that the vibrancy of the board is in the doldrums now but that is no reason to "eat our young."
