Herman Cain 'enthusiastically' endorses Newt Gingrich for president

It is a gift that keeps on giving.

Newt must be relishing the limelight.

As a side, why is he using his wife as a political prop? All she does is stand behind him with a Laura Bush grin.

Doesn't Callista have a job and what does she do besides get her hair done?

Just found out.

...I also know that Speaker Gingrich is running for president and going through this sausage grinder," said Cain. "I know what this sausage grinder is all about. I know that he is going through this sausage grinder because he cares about the future of the United States of America."

Remind me never to eat one of Cain's pizzas.

Well, this certainly was a last-minute surprise from the Gingrich camp. I actually don't know if it's enough to give him the victory in Florida, though.

The best present Newt could possibly get is for Santorum to drop out at this point. I have no doubt that virtually all of Santorum's supporters will go to Gingrich before they go to Romney.

Oh please let it be Noot.

I want to be able to use the 'Nooter Pooter Schmoozer Club' when his acolytes have to wax rhapsodic about their nominee at the same time their bowels are turning to water at the thought of the disastrous loss ahead in November.

Newt Gingrich says:

"I am legitimate heir to the Reagan movement"

"Businesses Will Start Creating Jobs On Election Night If Obama Loses"

"Mitt Romney’s Ethics Violations Attacks Are ‘Totally Phony’"

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politic...-ethics-violations-attacks-are-totally-phony/

Now I'm convinced. Newt's the one fucking insane narcissist freak bastard!

I actually agreed with the sentiments Herman Cain espoused during his endorsement speech...

And I truly believe that the Republican Party (the actual people -- not the establishment) will be way more fired up and motivated with Gingrich than they would be with Romney...

I hope this is enough for Newt to win Florida -- and I also hope that Santorum calls it quits pretty soon...

:):):)

I saw a poll today that factored out Santorum in Florida... Romey's lead over Newt actually grows.

Gingrich voters really confuse me.

if you're moderate, you've got Romney.
if you're a fiscal conservative, you've got Paul.
if you're a social conservative, you've got Santorum.

how Newt became the Sarah Palin-endorsed Tea Party candidate blows my mind. he isn't to the right of Romney on any significant issue.

That absolutely stuns me how that can be the case.

Everyone has simply written off Paul, so pretty much the way I see it through the minds of the Republican voters is:

1) If I'm an Evangelical and "Values Voter", then clearly Santorum is for me.

2) If I am the Fiscal Conservative and/or a Wall Street Investor/Wealthy ... not as much on Social Values, then I am for Romney.

3) If I am both an Evangelical and Fiscal Conservative ... and I'M JUST MAD AS HELL AT OBAMA ... JUST BECAUSE I AM .... then I am for Newt

Not saying Romney, especially, makes any sense, but the Fiscals are going to him. He has the business man mantra down pat.

Nor am I saying Evangelicals going for Newt makes any shred of sense either ... but these would be the Evangelical In Name Only voters, who care more about getting Obama out of office then worrying about religion.

Now that Herman has endorsed Newt, the only other person we need is Sarah Palin. If she would endorse any of the current crop, it would be him. She does not like Romney.

He needs to get her out on the campaign trail with him pronto.

Sarah Palin Calls Criticism Of Newt Gingrich 'Stalin-Esque'

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/...ingrich-criticism-stalin-esque_n_1239746.html

This wasn't worth a separate thread, but nevertheless...

Hey, Sweetie Pie - you don't know jack shit about anything... for what it's worth, Joseph Stalin killed about 20 million of his own people. Mitt Romney and his backers are what they are, but I really don't think genocide is on their dance card - but it may be on yours.

^ Or as Michelle Bachmann said, "The devil's in the details... flip his 999 Plan around and what do you get?"

^ You took my line, JB3

Kiss of death.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.............it has to be the Ginge.

Otherwise we will be robbed of the opportunity to refer to Gingrich's fans as 'Noot'z Taint Lickers Posse'.

some repubs will be very fired up - not enough to prevent a landslide victory for the dems

moderate repubs will not vote

independents will vote for obama

newt has no chance of beating obama - his brand recognition is 100% - that's the problem

NO UPSIDE

whereas Romney COULD get repubs and indies to support him

Not likely

but possible

with Newt there is NO chance for the Repubs
