Heroes Season 3: Villians [merged]

I'm pretty sure Peter had the power since he saved Claire from Sylar in Season 1, (since he automatically absorbs powers)? He just didn't know he had his original power or how to access it

I was under the impression that Peter only just know learned how his power works in the last episode?

That's what I was thinking. He needed to think about Claire in order to revive himself the first time he died (falling on the cab).

i don't think ando is "dead." yes, hiro did kill him but considering he can manipulate time and space? i think we'll see ando again. and i agree, ando is hot. ;) however i think hiro's killing ando will have influenced the vision he had at the beginning of this season where ando kills him.

I don't think Ando's dead either, I seriously need him there as eye candy to make it through most Hiro scenes

And I think you're on to something about the Ando vs Hiro vision...

And I missed what happened with Meredith & Puppet Master, just saw that weird kiss

And I like Mr. Petrelli already...sooo creepy! Angela & Maury looked pretty scared sh!tless

I really hope he has an impressive power. Whether him saying "you won't be able to move" & his ring have something to do with it or not

And speaking of creepy, I'd be uber pissed if my power was to dream only gruesome deaths...I'd be kind of a major bitch too lol. Maybe Angela has a specialized type of precog, where she sees only death visions or multiple murders haha?

But too early to tell I know

Looking forward to the upcoming episode where we see Mr. Petrelli.

Is anyone else sick of Claire's storyline? I just don't understand it. How would she even get these people back to Level 5. She really doesn't have a power to control them. Just be able to get her ass kicked and then get back up again.

I know, she is in way over head. I'd rather see Claire's mom get a lead storyline.

And suppose the black hole guy wasn't just a distraught family man & a real villain instead? Claire would've been done in a few seconds flat lol

Along with other wasted potential, I'm really hoping that Adam doesn't go from major villain of Season 2 to comic relief Hiro junior....

Just like the previous episode, I laughed my head off when Claire's first little scene came on. WTF does she think the's doing with her "trusty" little taser?!:lol: Is she fucking serious??!

Why didn't Gabriel use his super hearing to eavesdrop on HRG/Claire/vortex man? He could have stopped vortex man with his teke. That's such a cool power, especially if you can fly.

I'm not even going to comment on the Hiro subplot anymore... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Adam looks really cute with his sort-of-shaggy hair

Can Meredith only make fire come out of her hands?? And does she have to make a physical gesture? Maybe she just hasn't developed her powers well enough to just burst into flames at will, cuz the puppet master doesn't control the mind, just the body, right?

i have to admit the whole claire story right now is just... meh.

I think it makes sense for her character at the moment - I just wish she'd realise that her power kind of sucks in a fight and she's basically useless on her own.

That's just the thing. Her power doesn't necessarily suck in a fight if she was written with some imagination. If they really wanted to make her interesting and relevant then they'd have her learn some sort of martial art. A competent hand to hand fighter who cannot feel pain and can heal near instantaneously would be pretty formidable. Look at Wolverine. But that would fly in the face of her being the blonde damsel in distress.

Hiro pisses me off because he's a useless fanboy character. He's one of the most powerful characters in the whole show but spends every episode fucking everyone else up and complaining about what it means to be a hero. He actually can't to anything right.
This week's annoyance - spending the past 3 episodes whining about how Ando apparently kills him in the future (ie. HASN'T HAPPENED YET) but then stabs him in the chest after like a second's thought. Double standard. ¬_¬

I feel like Maury was around whenever Hiro killed Ando. I've been wondering for a few episodes why the hell Nathan was seeing Linderman. When Daphne started seeing him as well, then I got real confused--until Maury showed up.

Now something's amiss with that: isn't the Haitian in the building somewhere, and can't he just exist and render Maury's powers useless?

As an aside, I'm glad they've started tying up some of Season One's loose ends.

As another aside, here's Zach Quinto (Sylar/Gabriel) from an episode of 24:

Wouldn't kick him out of bed even if he wanted to cut my head open.

Hiro did not really stab Ando. I bet----Hiro stopped time right before stabbing him. Explained to Ando that they needed to fake his death (blood pacs, etc... ) set that all up, then started time again. I'm sure we will see a slight flashback next week dealing with that moment.

(why am I still watching this stupid show? !)

The doctor (Shuresh? or whatever?) is turning into Jeff Goldblum, from The Fly. SO lame!

Suddenly Peter tries to kill his own mother?

So many characters change personalities from episode to episode just to fit into a silly storyline. :(

After this episode, I am becoming upset with the show.

I know the theme of this season is "Villains," but why are all the heroes turning into bad guys too? I find it offensive the writers would make Peter almost commit matricide against his own mother. Why does he NEED Sylar's power anyway? It doesn't make sense. Now, the main hero of the series is a crazy psychopath.

I know Hiro didn't really kill Ando, but I find the scene upsetting. Once again, the writers are ruining the "Hero" image of the main characters by making them do terrible things. They are becoming no different than the villains. Every time I see an episode, I feel more depressed. Nothing good ever happens. Every show is one tragedy and disaster after another with some kind of half-assed resolution at the end of the season.

I also don't like what they are doing with Dr. Sureysh's character. He is the narrator and voice of reason in the series. Now he's some creepy fly or spider or whatever the Hell he is.

Here's the main problem with the season:
1. There are too many main characters. The writers keep bringing back old ones to compete with air time with the new ones that it's becoming too complicated to keep track of them all. There needs to be a dying off.

2. Heroes need to stay heroes. It's fine for one or two characters to face moral challenges, but turning all the good guys into bad guys ruins the likability factor of the characters.

Maury Parkman. Remember how he could make people think/say/be/do whatever it was he desired? Yeah, well, he's exploiting that power. That would explain also why Linderman's around--he's not really around; Maury's projecting his image into their thoughts.

Peter having Sylar/Gabriel's power will be explained later, along with how they all came to have it.

I also fear this may be the last season, so all kinds of loose ends are getting tied up.

Sylar lost all of his powers back in season 2. After he got the cure for the virus, he only kept his original ability along with (for some obscure reason) telekenesis.

I thought he regained his powers in future? Like he was able so explode after his son died. Did he take the power from another radioactive person or from Peter?

Sorry but I just feel like ranting right now.

But Hiro does absolutely nothing for me as a character. I understand that he needs to be there for comic relief or what have you, but still I just prefer a serious tone with little bits of humor dropped in.

It just seems like 90% of the time, everyone else suffers from character-lameness whenever they share a scene with Hiro.

Daphne, Ando, Parkman, Adam, Kaito, hell even Angela slipped into a campy kiddie fun tone with Hiro

I have no problem with the actor, Masi seems like a fun guy & there are times where Hiro is serious (like when he faced Sylar in S1 & when he faced Peter at the end of S2, and of course Future Hiro) & I just wish they would mature the character a bit.

But of course, this is just me again venting; but it just totally takes me out of the seriousness & intensity of some scenes when they cut to Hiro/Ando bumbling through another adventure...Here we are in Season 3 & I just don't like it

they took a great show and now washing it down the drain
.......a la 4400 anyone?

i really enjoyed this evening's episode myself. claire went a good way to redeeming herself.

Hiro going back one minute was hilarious i laughed so hard.

I completely forgot that Claire cant die so i was freaking out when the gun was pointed at her as Claire is my favorite hero; even though invisibility is my favorite power.

I thought that the fat guy would have lost his concentration for a split second allowing Claires to shoot him.
