No, that's why it's an illusion!

If you expand the image and concentrate on a particular spot, you'll see that it's fixed.
 
At first I thought it was the arrows in the boxes prompting me to see the direction of movement but when I covered them up with my thumbs it made no difference. It might be that the flashing is "phased" differently to give different effects, like those blinking and pulsing fairy lights that do tricks and make people have seizures.
 
as Essex Boy states. It s the motion of the flashing lights that gives the illusion that the boxes are moving. But no the boxes are moving.
