I have been doing a bit of house cleaning and decided to go ahead and put on a pot of tomato sauce to cook and make a bit of spaghetti--I really hate the canned stuff. So, I have that on a slow simmer----what are ya'll having tonight?

I have no idea and I've been thinking about this since 3, especially because I didn't have any lunch... Any ideas?

Well, if ya'll were in Tulsa I'd make enough for us all---probably need to run up the street and grab a baguette and make garlic bread. Everyone like parmesan?

Spooky coincidence, I boiled spaghetti this morning too, and had enough left over for this evening.

I made a sauce from fried diced onions, minced pork, tomatoes, carrots and tomato puree.

I also made a chicken and vegetable soup for the baby, who we're weaning. I had half a chicken breast left over, so sliced it fairly thinly, marinaded it in a bit of soysauce and salt, made a batter, and deep fried it as chicken nuggets.

I'm thinking Chinese food... some pork chow mein, asparagus beef, pineapple chicken, and lovely white rice. Maybe some potstickers for variety.

Or I might cook...I have some chicken breasts that I can do something with. But I'd rather just order out.

God, that sounds good. I'm probably going to order pizza. I eat a few slices, then freeze it and eat off of it for days.

feeling lazy, so.... veal burgers with mozzarella and fried onions. :)

That actually sound pretty good---a piece of toasted crusty bread drizzled with olive oil a little sea-salt and cracked pepper---yum.

Burgers on the grill with lots of sauteed onions and cramini mushrooms and
three quarters of a bottle of a rather aggressive Australian Merlot.

Baked Cod and baked potatoes with hushpuppies!

Yum!

I'm thinking about some chicken kabobs on the grill tomorrow, with some onions and orange bell peppers.

Super Nachos from El Super Taco. I had a bunch of errands to run, and no time to cook.

We did have Chinese food, after all. But just for fun, we ordered something we'd never had before, Lion Head Pork Meatballs with bok choy! They were delicious! Like round gingery meatloafs! I wonder what they'll be like sliced and on a sandwich... I will find out tomorrow.

Leftover teriyaki from a local place. I'm also making rice balls with sticky rice stuffed with kale and potatoes for lunches this week.
