I'm 20, go to school in Montreal, but really want to live abroad in Sydney for a semester, work exchange maybe.

What's the vibe of the city like? How gay friendly is it?

Sydney is essentially the gay capital of the country. We had the Mardi Gra in the weekend that just passed, and that always draws huge attention, media coverage included.

And we're a society that lives mostly on the beach. There's tons of surfers! (Not me though)
