When I lived alone I kept all my toys wrapped in a black plastic bag and stashed way back in my closet. I knew she would never go through my stuff if I wasn't around. When we moved in together I had to get rid of all of it. Shame you have to hide it. Like others mentioned, if you have a tackle box or something you could hide it in there.
