Higher education has a negative effect on the country

Where exactly were they asked if colleges and universities have ONLY a positive effect? Those polled were asked if colleges and universities are having a positive OR negative effect on the way things are going, and thinking is one aspect of education. Without thinking, There Is No Education. That's why Trump supporters do not learn and cannot see what is happening in the United States. And they don't need a college or university degree to see it.

Your argument, as usual, contains no substance, and that's because you Didn't Read The Damned Article Or The Poll Page Linked Therein.

Well noted for clarity's sake.

By discriminating against conservatives in hiring, the intentionally limit "thinking" to the liberal bias, with the result we see on this forum; if you do not "think" the way liberals/democrats/marxists you are not thinking.

A Confession of Liberal Intolerance

If you google you will find a lot information on the subject. See this from the liberal/democrat New York Times; https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/08/opinion/sunday/a-confession-of-liberal-intolerance.html

All well-and-good, I suppose, but it has nothing to do with my question. And I don't know what I'm supposed to Google, but every time i put 'Republicans' and 'discrimination' in the same search, all I got was pages and pages of how the Republicans are discriminating against other people, including many pages on discrimination against the LGBTQ community.

Kristof... that name rings a bell having to do with the anthrax scare, as well as Iran issues.

As for the column, it isn't the first time I've seen it pointed out that Martin Luther King would be excluded from liberal politics because he was an evangelical. It's an annoying point because so many liberals love to claim that religion does nothing good, but here perhaps our greatest civil rights hero was motivated by religion.
